What's the matter, McCain, wrong Indian Tribe??

Headline: McCain wants to stop off-reservation casinos

Phoenix Business Journal

My, my John has been busy doing other things besides insulting AMERICANS! Or has he?

So what?? What is so interesting about this??

As we have documented before, in the article, "Indians, Lobbyists and Arizona Politics...OH MY!", McCain is BIG on Indian Casinos, that is when it's the same Indians filling his campaign coffers.

McCain's history with the Indian Tribes has been an obvious 'follow the money' endeavor, as shown before, " McCain was betting at a casino he oversaw as a member of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, and he was doing so with the lobbyist who represents that casino."

Read on from the headline:

U.S. Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., is pushing a federal measure that would stop American Indian tribes from building new casinos outside their historical reservation lands.

A number of tribes in California and New York and the Tohono O'odham Nation in Arizona have plans for new casinos that are not on their reservations. The McCain bill would codify a Bush administration policy against such operations, according to Empire State News.

It's not clear whether the bill would impact the planned O'odham casino on unincorporated land between Glendale and Peoria. A 1986 federal law gives the O'odham Nation the right to buy county land in the Phoenix area to replace some land lost as a result of construction of a dam. McCain sponsored that bill.

However, he opposes the O'odham casino near Westgate City Center and University of Phoenix Stadium.[snip]

But, then, the Indians have a long history of believing the WRONG politicians!

Susan Bradford has a good article about McCain and Indians, including this quote:
McCain has said, “There have been times when I put my personal ambitions before the public interest.” Probably more times than he or anyone else could imagine.

The Burning of America...One illegal alien fire at a time!

Horseshoe 2 fire becomes 5th largest wildfire in Arizona historyLink
HEADLINE:
SW area issues warning for firefighters working near US/Mexico
border 6/2/2011

[snip]In what seems to be an annual occurrence, the Southwest Geographic Area has issued another “Safety Alert” with the subject: “US – Mexico Border Fire Operations Safety”. Saying the border area has become “increasingly dangerous” to firefighters, they listed in the two-page document some watchout situations:
According to the Arizona Central:

As the Horseshoe Two Fire in remote southeastern Arizona has grown, so has its cost - $19 million so far.

The fire, now the sixth largest in Arizona history, has consumed 66,290 acres and firefighters say it will grow because the rugged terrain has made it an additional challenge to contain it. The terrain has meant additional transportation costs such as helicopters to move people and equipment.

The Rodeo-Chedeski Fire remains the largest in Arizona history and cost $43 million.

Documented in the archives of TheTownCrier are the many fires in California, and the Pacific NW ignited by illegal alien drug cartels. Alone, one of the largest, the La Brea, consumed 88,000 acres in California.
Investigators revealed that the La Brea Fire was started by a cooking fire in a marijuana drug trafficking operation.

Headline: AZ Rancher: Illegals Have Set 11 Fires in the Last 3 Years

The Tucson Citizen reported:

Ed Ashurst is a rancher who lives over by the Chricahua Mountains in eastern Arizona. Here is a commentary he wrote on Sunday May 15th about the huge fire that is burning down the countryside over there:

There Are No Cool Heads in Portal
By Ed Ashurst

[snip] Portal, Arizona is a beautiful place. Located in the mouth of Cave Creek on the eastern slope of the Chiracahua Mountains, it is not much more than a hole in a road, which continues west to the town of Paradise, and eventually ascends to the top of the mountain at a campground located at a spot called Rustler Park. The small populace of Portal is partially made up of retirees, wealthy enough to own a piece of the pricey land; not a few who could be described as liberal academics. A short distance up the canyon is The Southwest Research Station of The Museum of Natural History. This area, and the Chiracahua range as a whole, is the best example of neo-tropical bird habitat in the United States. It is the home of: the greater and lesser long-nosed bat, the famous trogon, the so-called “endangered” spotted owl, and hundreds of other rare species. It is bird watcher’s paradise. It is burning down.

About a week ago, what is now being called Horseshoe Fire #2 was started by illegal aliens in the area of Burro Springs near the headwaters of Horseshoe Canyon. Border Patrol agents tracked four aliens to the very start of the fire. The first Forest Service fire fighters to arrive at the site observed the same tracks. Horseshoe Fire #1 was started near the same spot almost exactly a year ago, also ignited by illegal aliens. In the last 3 years alone no less than 11 fires have been started by illegal aliens in the Chiracahua Mountains and the adjacent Peloncillo Mountains. No less than 120 thousand acres have burned. The cost to the American taxpayers to fight these fires is nearing $70 million. The U.S. Forest Service itself admitted that Horseshoe Fire #1 cost in excess of $10 million to fight.

Feces & Urine Problem In Downtown El Paso

Posted on Fri Jun 3 http://www.ktsm.com/news/feces-urine-problem-in-downtown-el-paso ^

EL PASO - It's disgusting, unsanitary and it's going to leave you shaking your head. Migrant workers have turned a Downtown El Paso alley into a gigantic toilet.

Human urine stains the walls and feces is piled up in an alley that's just blocks away from the Convention Center and other tourist hotspots.

"If they don't let you go inside, you have to go anywhere. That's why El Paso is like that," Roberto Miranda said.

Miranda is a migrant worker. He sleeps outside of the Farm Workers Center, like at-least one-hundred other people, and he waits for work in the early morning hours. The disgusting alley is around the corner from the center. Miranda admits the migrant workers us it as their personal toilet.[snip]

Man arrested after decapitated body found in Chandler, Arizona

Oct. 11, 2010 - Fox News - Chandler police are investigating a weekend homicide after taking a suspect into custody. At approximately 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Chandler police were called to an apartment complex in the 300 block of West Fairview Street near Frye Road and Arizona Avenue for a decapitated man found inside a unit.

Officers found a Hispanic male in his 30s stabbed and decapitated. The man's head was found near the body.

Crisantos Moroyoqui, 36, is in custody facing charges of second-degree murder and hindering prosecution. According to police, Moroyoqui had been living near the victim and it appears they knew each other.

Sgt. Frank Mendoza said the victim, suspect and other people had been drinking earlier in the evening inside the unit. The police report indicates some of the men left for a casino and at that time the witnesses reported seeing the victim alive with Moroyoqui and three other individuals. An hour later men awoke to find the victim deceased.

A witness who lived with Moroyoqui alerted investigators to bloody shoes which provided probable cause for Moroyoqui's arrest. Moroyoqui is in the U.S. illegally.

Police are asking the public with help locating three suspects in this case. Juan David Campos Morales Aguilar, Hispanic male, 220 pounds with short dard hair and a thin moustache; Jose David Castro Reyes, Hispanic male, 25 years-old, with short hair and clean shaven; "EL JOTO", Hispanic male, with short spiked black hair and a goatee. They are believed to be traveling in a 2003 Red Ford Expedition with California plate 6FWR784. The Chandler Police Department is asking anyone with information to call 480-782-4130

John McCain -Aiding the liberals land grab & illegal alien incursion

McDon't you wonder what ELSE McCain has been up to since he bought his Arizona senate seat AGAIN????? Time will tell! (Yes..I said bought...about $75.00 per vote!)

Headline: Senators support illegal immigration super highway

Sept. 7, 2010 - Twenty-three Senators gave their support to a deceptive bill that will, among other things, create an illegal immigration superhighway, remove access to natural resources, and strip ranchers of their grazing rights, all under the excuse of “preserving” wilderness. 23 voted to move S.B. 1689 to the floor including, McCain, Alexander, Landrieu, and Lincoln.

[snip]When New Mexico's Senators Jeff Bingaman and Tom Udall introduced S.B. 1689 in September 2009, immigration was barely a blip on the public's radar. Their harmless sounding bill, which makes land in New Mexico part of the National Wilderness Preservation System and the National Landscape Conversation System, received virtually no attention. However, it has percolated to the top as the markup of the bill has been approved (23-0) and is headed to the Senate floor.

Unless people speak up, this New Mexico bill will sail through on a professional courtesy to Sens. Bingaman and Udall. Senators give lip service to the demands for closed borders, yet 23 voted to move S.B. 1689 to the floor. Supporters, including, McCain, Alexander, Landrieu, and Lincoln, need to be held accountable.

Desert Peaks Wilderness National Conservation Area sets aside a long north/south strip of land just miles from the border that contains all the elements that make it perfect for the movement of both human and drug trafficking: wilderness/de facto wilderness safe havens; east /west highway access; rugged and complex north/south mountain and drainage orientation; and high, strategic points of observation.

In northern New Mexico the Bingaman/Udall partnership co-sponsored S.B. 874 (El Rio Grande Del Norte National Conservation Establishment Act) again impacts land near the border - the border of Colorado and New Mexico. This land is rich in natural resources. If Bingaman and Udall have their way, these resources will never be developed, needed jobs will not be created, and state revenues will be reduced.

In both the north and the south, the parcels proposed for "conservation" contain both state and federal lands that are leased for farming, ranching, and oil and gas extraction. Specifically stated within S.B.1689 is the withdrawal of "Operation of the mineral leasing, mineral materials and geothermal leasing laws." The wilderness of 1964 specifically forbids the use of motorized vehicles. The elimination of motorized vehicles devastates land management and the ability to pursue traffickers.

In the immigration superhighway, The Organ Mountains - Desert Peaks Wilderness Act, Border Patrol will be prevented from chasing traffickers in motorized vehicles. Will illegals be concerned about damaging the wilderness? No. They will have a fleet of vehicles - mirroring the situation in Arizona. Meanwhile, the Border Patrol will have their mobility and access destroyed. (Editor's note: Sen. Bingaman's office has told the Sun-News that the bill has language guaranteeing motorized access in wilderness areas for the Border Patrol.)[snip]

A July, 2010 article:

“Members of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee gave unanimous approval today to a bill that would designate hundreds of thousands of acres in Doña Ana County as wilderness.

With that approval from 13 Democrats and 10 Republicans, the Organ Mountains – Desert Peaks Wilderness Act now heads to the Senate floor for a vote.”[snip]

Chairman Jeff Bingaman (NM) Byron L. Dorgan (ND) Ron Wyden (OR) Tim Johnson (SD) Mary L. Landrieu (LA) Maria Cantwell (WA) Robert Menendez (NJ) Blanche Lincoln (AR) Bernard Sanders (I) (VT) Evan Bayh (IN) Debbie Stabenow (MI) Mark Udall (CO) Jeanne Shaheen (NH)

HEADLINE: Illegal immigrants sparked large brush fire, authorities

[snip] A fire that blackened nearly 900 acres in San Diego County was caused by illegal immigrants who were apparently lost and set off a signal fire.

The Cowboy Fire did not burn any homes or cause injuries. More than 1,300 firefighters battled Friday's blaze.

Authorities said they were still trying to find those who sparked the blaze. The illegal immigrants had called Mexican officials "and advised them that they had been lost for two days, were stranded, dehydrated and were going to light a signal fire to attempt to get some help,'' Cal Fire spokeswoman Roxanne Provaznik told Fox 5 San Diego.

BACKTRACK:

The amazing thing is that we don’t hear more about these ‘migrant’ caused fires. They have NO respect for this land...just imagine what it would look like in a short time if we actually gave it all ‘back’ to them.

This happens more often than we are told. Last summer, 85,000 acres was lost in the Calif. LaBrea fire...caused by illegal alien Mexican drug cartel members.

Where are the environmentalists and your politicians??? Busy counting what’s left of your money, that’s where.

Fire Investigators Determine Cause of La Brea Fire

Incident: La Brea Wildfire (84,150 acres, 25% contained) Date: August 15, 2009

GOLETA, CA... A week-long investigation by U.S. Forest Service Special Agents, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit and Fire Investigators has revealed the cause of the La Brea Fire. Investigators revealed that the La Brea Fire was started by a cooking fire in a marijuana drug trafficking operation.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit has confirmed that the camp at the origin of the fire was an illegal marijuana operation believed to be run by a Mexican National Drug Organization. The Narcotics Unit has been working in the area within the last month eradicating other nearby marijuana cultivation sites.

Although the La Brea Fire started more than one week ago, there is evidence that the unburned marijuana garden area has been occupied within the last several days. It is also believed that the suspects are still within the San Rafael Wilderness trying to leave the area on foot. Officials warn not to approach anyone who looks suspicious but to instead contact the nearest law enforcement agency.[snip]http://inciweb.org/incident/announcements/article/1803/9150/

We stood by Arizona & They gave us 6 more years of McCain!!!

What can I say? I give McLiar a week before he starts the pandering to foreign nationals and their big dollars.

Here's the reaction to the Arizona Senate race from Conservatives, who sum it all up!

BREAKING: McCain Wins Primary (Idiot Republicans on Parade) Tue Aug 24

ex-snook: The lesson of elections is - you can’t bring an idea to a money fight. He who pays the media calls the tune.

doc1019: How can a state that is willing to fight the President over illegal immigrants continue to elect this idiot RINO.

Boucheau: Thank you Sarah Palin! Well done, you hack!
Not to mention all the GOP-bots out there—you are about as useful as Obama voters.
The Commie-Lite GOP Establishment wins again!

who knows what evil?: The pig McCain will probably beat the democrat by 20%; so it might be interesting to see 'None of the Above' pull 10-15% in November.
McCain...no need to worry about an Obama presidency, my ass...thanks for ruining my country, dipstick.

GinaLolaB : I don't want to hear Hannity or Limbaugh whining when John McCain starts stabbing us in the back again. They never helped Hayworth at all. Wow!

KTM rider: this is so depressing I dont know if i can get out of bed to vote republican come november........why bother its like a choice of "socialist" or "socialist light" and Palin is like a character from some kind of a saturday night live skit, like some cruel joke that flirts with reality.

VRWC: Bad night for America. DC will never fear us at the voting booth. Dark, violent, times ahead. AZ gets the open, crime ridden, border they deserve with this vote.

Jake from AZ: In case you can’t tell from today’s election results, we’re all a bunch of f___ing idiots down here. That may also have been a factor. The American Dream, which is to say the classical liberal dream, is officially deader than dog$#!+.
AND a special thank you from INFORMED Americans to J.D. Hayworth:

Mr. Hayworth, you quit your job and entered this race because WE ASKED YOU to, when no one else had the cajones to challenge John McCain's politically corrupt machine. You walked the talk, as you always have and we appreciate it.

BY THE WAY......
It appears Newmax has gone to the dark side......Last week they invited Bill Clinton to their offices as a 'special guest', and now this.......

Dozens of bodies found at Mexico ranch

Map of Mexico

Mexican troops say they have discovered 72 bodies at a ranch in the north of the country.

The bodies were found after a shoot-out with suspected drug cartel gunmen in which three gunmen and one marine were killed, the military said.

Found near San Fernando in Tamaulipas state, the corpses are reportedly those of 58 men and 14 women.

More than 28,000 people have died in drug-related violence in Mexico over the last four years.

The shoot-out near San Fernando happened after an injured man turned up at a navy checkpoint saying he had been attacked by cartel gunmen, Mexican media reported.

Troops raided the ranch, launching an aerial assault. They arrested one underage suspect, military said.

20 bodies found in central Mexico mine

MEXICO CITY, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- Twenty bodies were found Friday in an abandoned mine in central Mexico, a public security official said.

The official told local broadcasters that the bodies were found in a mine that is at least 30 meters deep in a neighborhood in Pachuca, the state capital of Hidalgo.

John McCain - the WORST Senator money can buy!

John McCain???
Arizona, you can't be serious about reelecting this lying political hack???
WHO are you people?? Don't you remember he barely survived an Arizona recall effort?

Conservatives don't back him...Independents have finally wised up....when will you?
Liberal rags like the Washington Post and NY Times endorse McCain...why do suppose that is?

John McCain was NEVER an Arizonan...his wife's rich daddy bought him a congressional seat in Arizona and moved him there! He's just another carpetbagger.

Some ask how McCain can be doing as well as he is in this race..is it the 20 plus million dollars he's spent on distorted ads to defeat a legitimate opponent....he certainly didn't do that to beat Obama and the democrats!!!

J. D. Hayworth beats him hands down on the record on immigration, sovereignty, every conservative issue. J.D. also beat him in the debates....too bad you didn't listen!

J.D. Has a near perfect record for conservatism and actually showing up to do his job! And McCain....the MOST ABSENT member of the SENATE!....but then he can't be bothered with such nonsense when he's spent the last 2 decades on the campaign trial!

Money is a big part of it. Big donations by mobsters in Vegas, the La Raza crowd and private prisons who house illegal aliens ( Private prison builder GEO’s PAC gave only $5,000 each to the campaigns of Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Rudy Giuliani and Mike Huckabee.

$500 to McCain several times was given by John Hurley, ceo GEO, who contributes BIG to
the open border loving RNC and Charlie Christ.

NOTE: Remember just a few days ago the prisoners who escaped one of McCain’s donor's private prisons in AZ??? This is a big scam to house illegal aliens and they are notorious for problems within them.

Lying is McCain’s hole card, always has been. By the time this election started, McCain had reinvented himself and his campaign website...’I’ve never been for amnesty, blah, blah, blah....’. He went so far in Tuscon recently to declare“President Reagan granted amnesty to two million people and that was wrong,”

Here’s another thing...he has purchased relevant keywords on the net, so no matter what you’re looking for you get his campaign websites.

The Search For A Candidate (from the pres primary, 2008)

[snip]McCain’s people say that every dollar they spend on online search advertising brings in three or four bucks.

The national polls don’t reflect it, but in one sense John McCain is the clear front runner in the presidential race: he leads in search-engine ads. When you type McCain’s name into Google, alongside or above the standard search results you’ll always get a text ad—a “sponsored link”—that leads you to a Web site soliciting campaign contributions for the Arizona senator. What happens when you type “Giuliani” into Google? You get a paid link to the former New York mayor’s site. But you also get a McCain ad.

The other obvious search words involve search terms people use when researching specific issues. Here again, McCain is busy; his people say that at various times they’ve bought 10,000 different words. Giuliani pops up with “flat tax” and “illegal immigrant.” But when I tried “universal health care,” nothing from any candidate came up. Vary it a little by typing “health care reform” and you get a paid link to … John McCain

Indeed, Sen. McCain has been on the stump in Arizona of late, telling everyone how he supports Arizona's SB 1070, how he wants to 'secure the border' and is against 'amnesty'.When you go to McCain's website, he'll tell you he NEVER supported AMNESTY.
Another lie! Just a few days ago, the bipartisan Immigration Reform Caucus, 76 members of the House of Representatives and five U.S. Senators have waded into the lawsuit by the Obama administration in U.S. vs. Arizona in support of Arizona.

Along with 81 congressmen, Rep. Duncan Hunter & Tom McClintock, R-California, signs Amicus Brief supporting Arizona Immigration Law, which includes 5 US Senators... Wicker, DeMint, Vitter, Inhofe, Barrasso, but NO John McCain!

I have strongly favored us using all the technical equipment that our military has including satellites, including aircraft and other technical means. May, 2001

Come on Arizona!! Don't let McCain fool you again, like he did in his so called
'presidential race'!

* May 29, 2003 interview: McCain: “Amnesty has to be an important part because there are people who have lived in this country for 20, 30 or 40 years, who have raised children here and pay taxes here and are not citizens.“

* Dec. 15, 2000 press release: McCain: ”I support the Latino and Immigrant Fairness Act (LIFA). Negotiations between the White House and the leadership, which endorsed more limited immigration reform, have resulted in a compromise.... this bill makes meaningful but insufficient progress on amnesty for those wrongly denied it.

Q: Should we change our Constitution to allow men like Mel Martinez, born in Cuba and Schwarzenegger, born in Austria, to stand here some night as candidates for president?
McCAIN: He and I have many similar attributes, so I have to seriously consider it.

FLUSH the JOHN! McCain HAS to go!

LISTEN UP ARIZONA!!! DO NOT stick us with John McCain for another 6 years of flipflopping- amnesty loving nonsense!!!

FLUSH THE JOHN!

Johnny and Teddy were Senators
On opposite sides of the aisle
They got together and drafted a bill
Guaranteed to make illegals smile
Amnesty was their game – and they had no shame

Johnny and Senator Feingold
Gave campaign finance a try
But then the highest court in the land
Said the 1st amendment must apply
Gotta play by the rules – now Johnny looks like a fool

Johnny and Mr. Obama
They both agree Gitmo should close
But bringing terrorists into the USA
Is a plan that we oppose
No, they don’t belong – and Johnny’s got it all wrong

Now Johnny and Senator Lieberman
Got together on cap and trade
Anemic hands across the aisle
Gonna send the country to its grave
It’s time to let him know – old Johnny’s gotta go

Johnny believes Global Warming
Limousine Liberals and all
Congressional junkets to Copenhagen
Everybody’s havin’ a ball
Just ask Al Gore - Johnny knows the score

S & L Man Charlie Keating
He came to Johnny one day
Said “the government boys are sniffing around
How much to make ‘em go away?”
Did Johnny take a bribe to join the Keating 5?

Now fast-forward 20 years later
Banks are in trouble again
Johnny says, “Let’s bail ‘em out
It’s just a trillion – or maybe ten.
Let’s put some wind in their sails – ‘cause they’re too big to fail.”

We know there’s oil in Alaska
Drilling won’t cause any harm
But Johnny agrees with the tree-hugging geeks
Gas is gonna cost a leg and an arm
Johnny why can’t you see what’s good for you and me?

Now everyone knows about ACORN
They get lots of taxpayers’ dough
Prostitution rings and voter fraud
And home loans to any old schmoe
No matter ACORN’s crimes – Johnny thinks they’re just fine

We’re tired of hearin’ your flip-flops
We’re tired of hearin’ your lies
You may think we’re all dummies but you can’t
Pull the wool over our eyes
You’re career’s hit a snag - so start packin’ your bags

‘Cause Johnny, you’ve worn out your welcome
It’s time to bid DC goodbye
Go write a book or learn to cook
And eat a little humble pie
Just ask Sheriff Joe – he says you gotta go

Yeah, go Johnny, go – it’s time to hit the road.
Good-bye

Indians, Lobbyists and Arizona Politics...OH MY!

TheTownCrier

The scene is the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut . The year 2000.
The congressman has $100 chips stacked high, having a grand time at the crap table.
He likes to gamble and isn't afraid to show some temper when he loses.
Along for the ride are his campaign manager and one of the two biggest lobbyists handing out campaign money from various Indian tribes who was also a 20 year friend of the legislator.

By now we've all heard about the money J.D. Hayworth received from an Indian tribe by way of disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff, who was one of the two big boys in Indian tribe money lobbying.

Pot, meet Kettle....

However, it was not J.D. Hayworth, nor Jack Abramoff at the crap table.
It was Senator John McCain, campaign manager and Indian lobbyist in his own right, Rick Davis, along with Scott Reed, now the one remaining big time lobbyist handling the tribes and their money.

National Review wrote:

“That would be this New York Times story, describing McCain playing the craps table with Rick Davis and Scott Reed. Davis is a longtime McCain friend and associate, currently his campaign manager, who runs a lobbying firm that represented Indian tribes with casino interests. Reed also worked as a lobbyist for Indian tribes, but he was also Bob Dole's campaign manager in 1996, where McCain is a top surrogate”
Another article further describes the scene.
McCain was betting at a casino he oversaw as a member of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, and he was doing so with the lobbyist who represents that casino.
The visit had been arranged by the lobbyist, Scott Reed, who works for the Mashantucket Pequots, a tribe that has contributed heavily to McCain's campaigns and built Foxwoods into the world's second-largest casino. Joining them was Rick Davis, McCain's campaign manager. Their night of good fortune epitomized not just McCain's affection for gambling, but also the close relationship he has built with the gambling industry and its lobbyists during his 25-year career in Congress.
As a two-time chairman of the Indian Affairs Committee, McCain has done more than any other member of Congress to shape the laws governing America's casinos, helping to transform the once-sleepy Indian gambling business into a $26-billion-a-year behemoth with 423 casinos across the country.
As factions of the ferociously competitive gambling industry have vied for an edge, they have found it advantageous to cultivate a relationship with McCain or hire someone who has one, according to an examination based on more than 70 interviews and thousands of pages of documents.
McCain portrays himself as a Washington maverick unswayed by special interests, referring recently to lobbyists as "birds of prey." Yet in his current campaign, more than 40 fund-raisers and top advisers have lobbied or worked for an array of gambling interests - including tribal and Las Vegas casinos, lottery companies, and online poker purveyors.
When rules being considered by Congress threatened a California tribe's planned casino in 2005, McCain helped spare the tribe. Its lobbyist, who had no prior experience in the gambling industry, had a nearly 20-year friendship with McCain.

H
ayworth's explanation of the Abramoff contribution is spelled out by him here.
Hayworth got direct contributions of $2,250 from Abramoff, which was donated to charity, Hurricane Katrina relief. The Indian tribe in question insisted the money they gave by way of Abramoff be kept by Hayworth.

Hayworth's exoneration of any criminal charges, by the US Dept. of Justice is in a letter from them here.

The McCain campaign is trying to use this non issue to destroy Hayworth, while indulging in bigger tribe money and underhanded backroom deals far surpassing anything Jack Abramoff pulled.

McCain has been chair of the Indian affairs committee since 2005, having served on it for many years prior. He used this position to bring down Abramoff, who was second only to handing out tribe dollars to McCain's man Scott Reed. Some have speculated the move was not so much to rid politics of the likes of Abramoff, but to gain a monopoly on tribe campaign dollars. There's even a book, 'The Perfect Villain: John McCain and the Demonization of Jack Abramoff' speculating McCain's motives.

In one such article, Chuck Muth writes:
When stories of Jack Abramoff taking various Indian tribes to the cleaners first hit the press, McCain - Chairman of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee and author of the un-American, anti-free speech McCain-Feingold campaign censorship law - decided this would be an excellent opportunity to settle some old scores, help out some old pals, and do what Sen. McCain does best...get media attention for Sen. McCain.
As the Washington insider newspaper The Hill reported in March 2004, McCain wrote at least one letter on Senate letterhead praising Reed to one of Abramoff’s clients, the Saginaw Chippewa. Five days later, Abramoff was fired and the Saginaw Chippewa tribe retained Reed. In addition, columnist Bob Novak reported last December that on the eve of the investigation’s hearings, Reed handed some $200,000 in bundled contributions to McCain. Does this smell, or what?
The thing is, this McCain “investigation” looks like a real scandal in and of itself. If there are/were actual crimes involved, that’s what the Justice Department is for, not the Senate Indian Affairs Committee. Instead, McCain appears to be using his committee and his position to (a) grandstand for his 2008 presidential campaign, (b) pay back conservatives who opposed him in 2000, and (c) scratch the back of a well-heeled lobbyist who is scratching right back.

McCain/Feingold/Campaign Finance 'reform' , more than meets the eye.

In 2006, Amanda Carpenter of Human Events relays this story.

McCain’s Law Preserved Loophole for Tribal Contributions
Sen. John McCain (R.-Ariz.), chairman of the Indian Affairs Committee, says the campaign finance reform law he sponsored in 2002 intentionally left open a loophole that allows Indian tribes to make campaign contributions to an unlimited number of candidates for federal office.
Before McCain’s law passed, most Americans were allowed to give an aggregate of only $25,000 to party committees and candidates for federal office in any two-year election cycle. Indian tribes were not subject to that cap. McCain’s law lifted the aggregate-contribution cap to $95,000 for ordinary American contributors, but declined to impose any cap at all on Indian tribes.
When I asked McCain last week why this was the case, he said, “Because tribes are ‘sovereign entities.’ They are treated on a government-to-government relationship, and we’re looking at that whole issue.”
I asked, “But it was an intentional thing?” McCain replied, “Oh yeah. … Because they are ‘sovereign nations’ unquote. We sign treaties with them.”
When I pointed out that the U.S. does not allow contributions from foreign governments, McCain said, “No, we don’t. But they’re American citizens. So, it’s a unique kind of a status.”
Evidently, Mr. McCain also believes he deserves 'a unique kind of status'. And why not be the 'anti-earmark' champion when there is a ready source of campaign income flowing from lobbyists controlling Indian money?

How very 'Maverick' of you, Senator McCain.

Pictures worth a thousand words!

NEW YORK - Two men carrying Mexican flags in protest of Arizona's immigration law ran into the outfield during the seventh inning of the New York Mets' game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night at Citi Field.

The Squatter Support Squad just loves this insane protest sign! Hello, Mexican's...YOU are NOT 'Native American'..WE are!

And for those useful idiots who STILL don't get it!!!

'Displaced Foreign Traveler' - Get Your PC speech here!!!

The Obama administration's Forest Service has a new term for ILLEGAL ALIEN....

'Displaced Foreign Traveler'

I kid you not! Lars Larson brought this to our attention yesterday, mentioning the continuing plantation grows of Marijuana by armed Mexican Drug Cartels in our National forests and parks in So. Oregon and No. California.
Link
The term was used in a U.S. Forest Service news release, sent out to the media Tuesday morning, about a marijuana raid earlier this month. It describes Gauldry Almonte-Hernandez, a citizen of Michoacán, Mexico as a “displaced foreign traveler.”

A Redding Searchlight editorial satirizes the incident:

[snip]Strangely, though, this poor displaced traveler — far from welcoming his rescue by the Forest Service, Trinity County Sheriff’s Department and Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement — instead reportedly tried to flee and hide as those agency’s officers arrived at the marijuana “garden,” which contained more than 7,000 plants.

A Forest Service law-enforcement dog team ran down Almonte-Hernandez, who, the Forest Service says, faces a federal charge of manufacturing a controlled substance that, if he is convicted, could carry a 10-year prison sentence.

Is that any way to treat a displaced foreign traveler?

300K marijuana plants destroyed in Shasta County this month

It’s been a busy month so far in the efforts to eradicate illegal marijuana gardens in the north state's backcountry.

Nearly 300,000 marijuana plants have been pulled from illegal gardens in Shasta County, Ca. so far this month, said Sgt. Steve Solus, who heads the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office marijuana eradication efforts.

Solus said the busts will easily eclipse the record number of 630,000 plants pulled in Shasta County last year.

Law enforcement officials have pulled more than 92,000 plants from illegal gardens in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest this month alone, forest spokeswoman Rita Vollmer said today.

The largest garden was near Hayfork, in which 46,000 plants were found in a single garden, Vollmer said.

Forest service law enforcement officers also arrested one man, Gauldry Almonte-Hernandez, of Mexico who ran during a raid on July 9 near Hayfork, Vollmer said.

Solus said that his agents have arrested around 20 suspects in connection with the grows. Most the suspects were Mexican growers arrested on suspicion of federal drug trafficking charges, he said.

'Shasta County targeted by prison gangs'

Hispanic-based gangs, motorcycle gangs and prison gangs have set their sights on Shasta County, multiple sources confirm.

"This is an untouched area for gangs," Anderson Police Chief Dale Webb said. "We believeLink there's a push to get a foothold here."

The attraction of Shasta County to gangs is access to the Interstate 5 corridor and routes to the coast, according to Sheriff Tom Bosenko. He added that limited law enforcement staffing and lack of gang control also makes the area attractive.

ANOTHER THING!!!!! Obama coming after your GOLD!

Gold Coin Sellers Angered by New Tax Law
abcnews.com ^ | 07/21/10 | RICH BLAKE

Those already outraged by the president's health care legislation now have a new bone of contention -- a scarcely noticed tack-on provision to the law that puts gold coin buyers and sellers under closer government scrutiny.

Starting Jan. 1, 2012, Form 1099s will become a means of reporting to the Internal Revenue Service the purchases of all goods and services by small businesses and self-employed people that exceed $600 during a calendar year. Precious metals such as coins and bullion fall into this category and coin dealers have been among those most rankled by the change.

This provision, intended to mine what the IRS deems a vast reservoir of uncollected income tax, was included in the health care legislation ostensibly as a way to pay for it. The tax code tweak is expected to raise $17 billion over the next 10 years, according to the Joint Committee on Taxation. [snip]

What's this all about????? An earlier article explains it....buyers and sellers of Gold, silver, etc. will have to file a 1099 tax form for every transaction of $600.00.

$600 Sale? Get Ready for Tax Form

[snip]The responsibility for issuing forms kicks in at $600 for coins or bullion – not a very high level and one that has already started sounding alarm bells. It doesn’t matter in what form payment is made, whether cash, check, credit card, or Yap stone money, the $600 threshold applies.

There’s a bill introduced by Rep. Dan Lungren (H.R. 5141), which has gathered over 80 members of Congress as co-sponsors to repeal this section. Evidently, however, the drafters of the provision think there is a $17 billion loophole that this plugs.

McCain: “America is still the land of opportunity, we’re not going to erect barriers and fences.”

HELLO ARIZONA!!!! You've made us proud with your stand against the tyrannical Obama Administration and open borders and your willingness to enforce our immigration laws!

But you're making the same mistake you've made for 24 years...you are believing lies.....
The never ending stream of lies from John McCain and his supporters.

Indeed, Sen. McCain has been on the stump in Arizona of late, telling everyone how he supports SB 1070, how he wants to 'secure the border' and is against 'amnesty'.

HE IS LYING, again!!! Stop letting this man use you!

How SOON we forget! But you better remember HIS WORDS!

But I’ll build the goddamned fence if they want it.”

In a speech at a ceremony in Washington, before an audience of 500, McCain again attacked English-only initiatives. “The building of our great nation is not the work of immigrants from one or two countries, McCain said, ”Our nation and the English language have done quite well with Chinese spoken in California, German in Pennsylvania, Italian in New York, Swedish in Minnesota, and Spanish throughout the Southwest. *This may be the ONLY time John McCain told the truth.
John McCain 2008 Prez election: no amnesty for illegal aliens could lead to France-style riots

...The man wasn’t satisfied with McCain’s answer. He asked McCain why the U.S. couldn’t execute large-scale deportations, as he had heard they did in France and other countries. The question seemed to pique McCain.
“In case you hadn’t noticed, the thousands of people who have been relegated to ghettos have risen up and burned cars in France,” McCain said. “They’ve got huge problems in France. They have tremendous problems. The police can’t even go into certain areas in the suburbs of Paris. I don’t want that in the suburbs of America.

McCain, the "maverick," has been in Congress for 28 years, or since winning his first election in 1982. He is no longer fighting the establishment; he is the establishment. He personifies the compromise wing of the Republican Party, which has since become the dominant wing.

He’s an EMBARRASSMENT!

“The thought of [John McCain] being president sends a cold chill down my spine”Sen. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.), also a senior member of the Appropriations panel, told the Boston Globe recently. “He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me.Washington Post

STUFF & News YOU missed!

Translation: "No on Prop 187 and No on the Law in Arizona."
Pandering at it's worst!!!! Hey Californians! Remember ALL those very expensive, slick ads Meg Whitman sent out...you know the ones where she PROMISED to crack down on illegal aliens, to secure the border if we elect her as governor?
What a difference a few days make!!! Here's her new sign in California's 'hispanic' districts.
Don't forget....Meg is one of 'McCain's girls!

HOW TO HANDLE THE RNC....

STOP voting for the Rino’s they insist on giving us...like Whitman in California. Until they know we will NOT vote for them, they’ll just keep putting up more of the same.

Past time to send the GOP a message...GIVE us conservatives because we won’t vote for your rinos!

CHELENE NIGHTINGALE FOR GOVERNOR

No more California RINO/MCCAIN wing votes! Whitman just insured Brown winning, why should I waste my vote on this pretend ‘conservative’.

Nightingale for Governor 2010

http://www.nightingaleforgovernor.com/

This statement by McCain keeps running through my mind. It’s worth a look and McCain let’s slip that he really is a globalist who doesn’t see any particular ‘connection’ to Arizona or the community of the USA, for that matter.

McCain 3/2009:

“I could imagine, with a little envy, what it must have been like for the McCains who came before me to be so connected to one place; to be part of a community”

Interesting statement. May give an indication why he has no special attachment to the sovereignty of this nation and believes illegal aliens have just as much claim to it as the rest of us who are ‘so connected’. Full article here

How 'bout those Black Panthers! Here they are intimidating voters last November...and this Dept. of Justice? All charges were dropped!
Listen to the hateful, violent words from Black Panther being shielded by Obama (w/shocking video)
One of the Black Panthers caught on tape trying to intimidate white voters outside a Philadelphia polling location on Election Day 2008, King Shamir Shabazz, has been caught in another video, spewing racist and vile rhetoric which will undoubtedly be shocking to many.
In the new video, the Black Panther speaks of his hatred for white people, and even advocates killing white babies.
Of course, the Justice Department, under Obama dropped the case against the Black Panthers, and Shabazz agreed not to carry a "deadly weapon" to a polling place again, at least until 2012.

Meanwhile, in Mexico, they're just killing voters they don't like! Coming to your town!

Violence curtails voting in several states

Mexico, D.F. – Yes. Violence inhibits voting. In Chihuahua and Tamaulipas, two states where there is the presence of criminal cartels, voter absence reached 60 percent.

In Chihuahua the declared PRI winner, Cesar Duarte, won with a vote of just 35.98 percent of the registered voters, according to the local Electoral Institute.

Meanwhile in Tamaulipas, Egidio Torre Cantu won, replacing his brother Rodolfo who was killed just a week ago by armed commandos, with only 39.7 percent of the registered voters actually voting.

In Sinaloa, another of the most violent states, only 57.05% of the voters participated.

Of the 12 states that elected governors during this election, the one with the highest voter turnout was Zacatecas where 57.2 of the registered voters actually voted.

And Mexico claims yet another 'first': Mexico leads the world in armed robberies

Mexico is the leading country in the world for armed robberies, and thugs use firearms in 67.7% of cases. This report is according to a study released today by the “Grupo Multisistemas de Seguridad Industrial,” an experienced Mexican firm with an international clientele. http://www.nuevoexcelsior.com.mx/index.php?m=nota&id_nota=539588

Tonight thousands of us will want to turn on the radio to hear the voice of reason we came to depend on. But today the voice is silent.
Terry Anderson passed away a few days ago and leaves a hole in our hearts. As he was in his last days, he didn't complain or even tell us he was ill...instead on June 5 he was in 107 degree heat, supporting Arizona.

American Patriot Terry Anderson Has Died

It seems like just yesterday that I was standing in the hot Arizona sun with sweat pouring off of me. I was not alone however that day, there was an American patriot sitting next to me on the stairs. I held an umbrella over his head as he wiped the sweat from his brow and took a drink from a water bottle. He looked up at me.

"Is it soon?" he asked.

"Just a few minutes more," I said.

Terry Anderson didn't look to me as I had pictured him. He was slightly gaunt and pale. His spirit however was still inside of him as he talked to me.

For those who don't know Terry, he had been doing a radio for 10 years called Terry Anderson Show where he spoke out for freedom in America and enforcement of our immigration laws. He got involved in the issue after watching the black community in Los Angeles being affected by the invasion of illegal aliens. He railed against the inaction by our government telling the American people that "If you ain't mad, you ain't payin' attention!"

"We will prevail because we are right! - Terry Anderson

On this day he had traveled into the middle of the desert to stand and share his message with the people of Arizona and the people of America. It was a day that would hit 107 degrees and the message he was bringing was no amnesty for illegal aliens. It was June 5, 2010 and it would be the last day that I would see this great man.

Little did I know at the time, Terry was suffering from pancreatic and liver cancer and it was the cause of his gaunt, pale condition. A little over a month later, just yesterday in fact, this patriot died.

It troubles me that someone with pancreatic and liver cancer - a month from dying - can take the time to stand with his fellow Americans, but there are Americans in this country who claim to be patriots who will make every excuse in the book not to attend events or be active in something they say they care about. Actually it angers me more than it troubles me and looking at a man like Terry just puts the point home. Terry is an example to us all. I believe that he would say to all Americans to "get off your butts and get out there!"

America is much the poorer with the loss of this great man named Terry Anderson.

Terry stood up tall from sitting next to me, walked up the stairs and took the podium. Below is what he had to say that hot day in June in Phoenix, Arizona.

You will be missed Mr. Anderson.

MUST SEE...Remembering Terry's last speech! Phoenix Rising.

Walter Moore gives a fine tribute.

Remembering Terry Anderson July 9, 2010
by Walter Moore

Let’s start with that voice of his: mesmerizing.

Terry Anderson’s radio show would have been worth listening to even if all he did was read aloud the ingredients of breakfast cereal. His voice was riveting. Booming — really BOOMING — one moment, then practically a whisper the next; relentless rapid-fire delivery mixed with pauses; he could have captured and held your attention even if you didn’t speak the same language. He was that good.

And Terry was hilarious. A boring man could never have coined the phrase, “The most horriblest clown of the week.” Even when he was “articulating the popular rage,” he could make you laugh. Mixing rage and laughter isn’t easy, but it made it easier for those of us in Terry’s audience to keep our spirits up in the face of the seemingly endless onslaught of, well, horrible clowns, week after week, year after year.

Terry’s articulation of the popular rage was therapeutic. When you heard Terry rant, you knew you weren’t alone. You also knew you were right, because Terry knew right from wrong, and knew how to explain it simply and clearly. Politicians could blow all the smoke they wanted to, but it never clouded Terry’s vision. He had uncommon common sense, and a unique ability to zero in on the truth.

Besides being a terrific speaker, Terry was a terrific listener. You know how sometimes, when you’re talking to someone, you feel as though they’re just waiting for you to stop so it’s their turn to say whatever they already have in mind? You never got that feeling from Terry. Rather, he actually listened to what people said. You could tell from how he reacted, whether you were listening to him on the radio or had the privilege of talking with him in person.

Sometimes, when people would call his show, they knew they had a point to make, but they didn’t know exactly how to make it. Terry listened, and then articulated the point for them. He did so, moreover, in a gentle, caring and respectful way. You could hear the relief and enthusiasm in their voice when they heard him express the thought they hadn’t quite been able to put together on their own.

I even heard him take a call from a little kid — whose parents had put him on the phone — and Terry neither rushed him nor condescended to him. I forget exactly what Terry said, but I remember being impressed; I think Terry likened immigration law to playing by the rules, a concept children understand but many adults pretend not to.

Assembling parts so they work together was apparently second nature to Terry. After he passed away, I read an article about how, from a very early age, he had a knack for taking bits and pieces from wrecked cars, salvaging them, and putting them together to work, good as new.

That’s basically what he was doing with our country. He was salvaging those of us who had given up hope. He found some of us here in L.A., others in Nevada, still others in Illinois — scattered people, all over America, who thought they were alone.

Terry united and connected people all over America who actually care about America. He was like Radio Free Europe and the French underground rolled into one. He provided important information we couldn’t find anywhere else.

When I ran for Mayor of Los Angeles, he was the first person to put me on the radio. He gave me the privilege of talking to people all over the nation on his show, despite my having had zero political experience, no war chest of cash, and no other media coverage. It made a difference. People from all over the country not only wrote to encourage me, but also contributed their hard-earned money to my campaign, because they wanted to help me try to save America’s second-biggest city. I was totally blown away. A police officer in Chicago actually contributed to my campaign. I was so honored.

Terry likewise supported Jamiel’s Law — a “radical” proposal to deny “sanctuary city” protection for gang members. That anyone could oppose such a common-sense, modest, narrow proposal is still stupefying to me. But oppose it they did, and Terry was right there, fighting the massive disinformation campaign waged by people who took the side of gangs rather than the side of gangs’ victims. He didn’t just talk about Jamiel’s Law on the radio; he actually came to the rallies and the protests. That he took his time to attend meant a great deal to me and to the Shaw Family, too. If you had Terry Anderson on your side, you had the angels on your side.

Brave. That’s another word that springs to mind when you think about Terry. More like “fearless.” More like “invincible.” Terry was so strong, fearless and inspiring that It never even occurred to me that he could possibly pass away. I took for granted that we would always have Terry to egg us on, inspire us, keep our hopes up, and lead the fight to protect common sense values we never thought we would have to fight for.

I can’t believe he’s gone. I just can’t imagine a world without Terry Anderson. No one can fill those shoes. He was one of a kind.

I also can’t imagine how terrible his loss must be for his family. He was always strong, strong, strong. To lose such a great man, with so little warning, has to be absolutely impossible.

I just hope Terry’s family realizes how much we loved him, and how grateful we are that they shared this remarkable man with us, shared him with America.

We miss you, Terry, and we won’t let you down. You put us together. We won’t let anyone tear us apart.
