Tell me again why Bush loves Mexico so much???

This is an old article that I missed..........

Mexicans tell Bush "Go to hell"

Wed, 14 Mar 2007 06:21:03
The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City was the latest scene where hundreds of demonstrators gathered around on Tuesday to protest the visit of U.S. President George W. Bush, and ended up attacking the riot police with concrete blocks, metal bars and tearing down barricades.

Mexican police responded with tear gas, pepper spray, and baton charges, throwing back rocks and clubbing demonstrators down. Several protesters were arrested or injured, one with blood pouring from his head.

The demonstrators burned U.S. flags and waved banners with slogans against the U.S. president such as, "Bush you are not welcome in Mexico. Go to Hell."

The vast majority of Mexicans oppose the war in Iraq and many also blame Bush for tough anti-immigration policies.

"We are in disagreement with the war policy," of Bush, said craftswoman Guadalupe Fernandez, 64, who was marching but not involved in the violence.

A group of about 30 masked protesters clad in black led the attack on the thick lines of riot police defending the U.S. Embassy.

When police fired tear gas and charged, the protesters scattered in all directions.

Lorenzo Fernandez, the commanding officer at the scene, said the police were only defending themselves.

"These are people who don't know how to demonstrate pacifically," Fernandez said.

In Merida, a southeastern city where Bush is meeting with Mexican President Felipe Calderon, about 100 protesters marched to his hotel for the second night in a row carrying Mexican flags and calling the U.S. president a "murderer."

Bush was having dinner with Calderon away from his hotel.

Fred Thompson: He also is unfamiliar with the details of his own positions. Consider his confusion the next day when talk radio host Laura Ingraham asked him about something he ardently supported -- the McCain-Feingold expansion of government regulation of political speech. His rambling, incoherent explanation was just clear enough to be alarming about what he believes, misremembers and does not know.

Mike Huckabee? Are you kidding? Who are you people?

Arkansas Governer Mike Huckabee suddenly seems to be the established GOP savior. True, he is great on the stump. He is and should be a preacher. But president? NOT if you're a conservative!

Remember, a lot of Arkansans voted for a Clinton presidency so they could get him out of the state! Most of them feel as
uninspired about the Huckster. YES, I do mean Huckster.

(Photo: "Text in #FOXN and vote for Ron Paul or Huckabee")

I made a prediction a few months back, that Huckabee would get a GOP push, that he would be perfect pick to them to balance out a moderate Rudy type candidate with his southern charm and religiosity. Now, I'm convinced of it.

A wise observer stated one of Huck's problems perfectly, "Yep Huckabee is his own man alright, except when it comes to illegal immigration. Then he’s George Bush."

Huck talks some good lines on immigration in the debates, but look at some recent statements he's made. In other words, does this man stand by his own policies? One thing that has angered Arkansans is that Huck financed a Mexican Consulate in Little Rock with their tax dollars and insisted on alien children be admitted to college!

LITTLE ROCK -June 30, 2005 - In a impassioned speech before hundreds of influential Hispanic civil rights leaders from across the nation, Gov. Mike Huckabee told a captive audience Wednesday that America is great because it has always opened it doors up to people seeking a better way of life.

"I would hope that no matter who we are, or where we are from, that America should always be a place that opens its arms, opens it heart, opens its spirit to people who come because they want the best for their families ...," Huckabee said as the largely Hispanic audience gave him a standing ovation.

Huckabee was the keynote speaker, along with Tyson Foods Inc. Chairman and CEO John Tyson, at a noon luncheon of the League of United Latin American Citizens, which is holding its 76th annual convention in Little Rock.

In his opening remarks, he said the nation will need to address the concerns of the Hispanic community because of its growing influence and population base.

"Pretty soon, Southern white guys like me may be in the minority," Huckabee said jokingly as the crowd roared in laughter. He told the LULAC delegates that their presence in the state's capital city was very important because Arkansas has one of the fastest growing Hispanic populations in the nation.

"Your gathering is so very significant for our state," Huckabee said. "We are delighted to have you......"

He has compared illegal aliens to slaves brought here in chains from Africa, saying, "I think frankly the Lord is giving us a second chance to do better than we did before."

Toward that end, when an Arkansas legislator introduced a bill that would prevent illegal aliens from voting and receiving state benefits, Huckabee denounced the bill, saying it would rile up "those who are racist and bigots."

He also made the insane point that companies like Toyota would not invest in Arkansas if the state didn't allow non-citizens to vote because it would "send the message that, essentially, 'If you don't look like us, talk like us and speak like us, we don't want you.'
One other bone of contention is shown in this video, where Huckabee Calls for National Smoking Ban in Public Places. Nanny state, anyone?

Ann Coulter sums it up:
"Like all the (other) Democratic candidates for president, he supports a federal law to ban smoking -- unless you're an illegal alien smoking at a Toyota plant. (I just realized why Mike Huckabee can't run for president as a Democrat -- they've already got Mike Gravel.)"

News you Missed!

Ron Paul Fans! Did you know he's against the death penalty?

"Paul breaks with the Republican Party by opposing the use of the death penalty as punishment for violent crimes. In 2001, Paul voted to legalize the use of marijuana for medicinal purposes and opposes the federal government's ability to perform random drug tests on federal employees."
Members of Latino gang charged with race-motivated crimes
(Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, you race baiters, where are you now????)

Federal prosecutors level racketeering and drug charges on more than 60people who they say targeted African American rivals.
By Ari B. Bloomekatz, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer
12:36 PM PDT, October 16, 2007

Federal prosecutors today charged members of the Latino Florencia 13 street
gang with racially motivated crimes against African Americans, including
several attempted homicides.

Authorities said the gang specifically tried to eliminate rival African
American gangs in South L.A. and the Florence-Firestone area in an effort to
"cleanse" the neighborhood. In doing so, they mistakenly harassed and
attacked innocent African American residents, according to the indictment.

More than 60 members and associates of the Florencia 13 street gang were
charged with federal racketeering and drug charges.

"In their attempt to intimidate African Americans in the community, they
targeted innocent citizens," U.S. Attorney Thomas P. O'Brien said.[snip]

Richard Alatorre, Los Angeles City Council. "They're afraid we're going to take over the governmental institutions and other institutions. They're right. We will take them over . . . We are here to stay."

Excelsior, the national newspaper of Mexico, "The American southwest seems to be slowly returning to the jurisdiction of Mexico without firing a single shot."

Professor Jose Angel Gutierrez, University of Texas; "We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. The explosion is in our population . . . I love it. They are shitting in their pants with fear. I love it."

Art Torres, Chairman of the California Democratic Party, "Remember 187 — proposition to deny taxpayer funds for services to non-citizens — was the last gasp of white America in California."

Gloria Molina, Los Angeles County Supervisor, "We are politicizing every single one of these new citizens that are becoming citizens of this country ... I gotta tell you that a lot of people are saying, "I'm going to go out there and vote because I want to pay them back."

Mario Obledo, California Coalition of Hispanic Organizations and California State Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare under Governor Jerry Brown, also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Bill Clinton, "California is going to be a Hispanic state. Anyone who doesn't like it should leave."

Jose Pescador Osuna, Mexican Consul General , "We are practicing 'La Reconquista' in California."

Professor Fernando Guerra, Loyola Marymount University; "We need to avoid a white backlash by using codes understood by Latinos ..."

Are these just the words of a few extremists? Consider that we could fill up many pages with such quotes. Also, consider that these are mainstream Mexican leaders.

Dubai..... Ally of the USA? Duncan Hunter 'gets it'!

Last nights 60 minutes episode about Dubai, UAE had many glowing words and scenes of the modernized Arab state. To be sure, they are on the economic upward trend, a virtual playground for the rich. Actually Dubai is more like DisneyLand on steroids.

While 85% of the population is alien cheap labor, the Dubai citizens prosper as they pay their imported slave labor $5 per day wages and resentment grows.

The most enlightening part of the program were the remarks of their leader, Sheikh Mohammed.

From the transcript:

Asked what he likes about the U.S., Sheikh Mohammed says, "I like everything about them, except their foreign policy little bit. I don't like their foreign policy."

"Can you be more specific about the foreign policy? What don't you like about the foreign policy?" Kroft asks.

"No I'll leave it vague. Just, I'll leave it like that," the sheikh says. "I think the American people will know what I mean."

"You had conversations, and consultations with the United States before the Iraq war," Kroft says.

"Yes. Yes. We gave the best advice we can to our friends. But, as you know, they don't always listen," the sheikh says.

Sheikh Mohammed acknowledges he was against the war. "It was wrong war," he says.

There are also differences with the U.S. over Iran, which is one of Dubai's closest neighbor, largest trading partners, and one of its biggest investors. Any hostilities in the Persian Gulf could present the sheikh with some difficult choices. But for the time being, business is still booming."[snip]

During a recent debate the subject of Dubai operating US ports as requested by the Bush Administration was presented. Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Texas Rep. Ron Paul, Arizona Sen. John McCain, former Tennesssee Sen. Fred Thompson, and Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback agreed with the deal, but no so for but California Rep. Duncan Hunter and Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo.

If you recall, Duncan Hunter is the man who stood against the port takeover by the Dubai Sheikh. Hunter said he does not believe the company should have been allowed the large stake in the exchange.

"Because I don't trust them," he said.

And with good reason, Mr. Hunter! Perhaps Duncan Hunter understands more about our 'friends' than most of us realize.

Congressman Duncan Hunter: "No, because I don’t trust them. And I don’t trust them because a few years ago Dubai, while an American Customs agent was trying to stop them, set for delivery a set of nuclear triggers to an anonymous recipient in Islamabad, probably for the A.Q. Khan network. That went directly against American interests. So I would not do that."

Tammy Bruce has some comments while blogging about the debate and Dubai:

"I think the clearest indication of what sort of people we're dealing with here is their position on Dubai, a Jew-hating, non-democratic Islamist regime, can buy whatever they want here. With the exception of Hunter and Tancredo, all get an "F" on that national security/values question........ Hunter: NO!!! He doesn't trust them. !! Finally. Says Dubai helped ship nuclear triggers probably to our enemies. We still don't know who. [No one mentions their boycott of Israel and the refusal to touch things a Jew has touched.]"

I'm getting bored. Hunter is coming across as the strongest, most clear on what's happening internationally, and the impact of Unfair Trade on this country. I find it slightly ridiculous that these men, who've been in office forever, are talking incessantly about how things have to change in Washington when they've been in that town for decades creating the problem. It's as though they think they can convince us they're all outsiders or something. Listening to John "Amnesty" McCain talking about the need for change is especially surreal.

Duncan Hunter notes 1.8 million jobs going to Communist China is the problem. Bravo. Yeah, notes that all the senators voted for Most Favored Nation status for China, sending those jobs to that pit. He was great."

Ann Coulter scores one!

Link

Ann had a column yesterday titled, "FRED SAWYER AND HUCKABEE FINN" partly below:
Conservatives unhappy with our Republican presidential candidates seem to be drifting aimlessly toward Fred Thompson and Mike Huckabee in the misguided belief that these candidates are more conservative than Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney. This is like breaking up with Bobby Brown so you can date Phil Spector.

On illegal immigration, Huckabee makes George Bush sound like Tom Tancredo.

He also made the insane point that companies like Toyota would not invest in Arkansas if the state didn't allow non-citizens to vote because it would "send the message that, essentially, 'If you don't look like us, talk like us and speak like us, we don't want you.'"

Like all the (other) Democratic candidates for president, he supports a federal law to ban smoking -- unless you're an illegal alien smoking at a Toyota plant. (I just realized why Mike Huckabee can't run for president as a Democrat -- they've already got Mike Gravel.)

In 1999, Sen. Fred Thompson joined legal giants like Sens. Jim Jeffords, Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins to vote against removing Bill Clinton from office for obstruction of justice.

Thompson, whom President Nixon once called "dumb as hell," claimed to have carefully studied the Constitution and determined that obstruction of justice by the president of the United States did not constitute "high crimes and misdemeanors." He must have been looking at one of those living, breathing Constitutions we've heard so much about.

And Mike Reagan gets it right today!

Where’s the Fire?
Townhall ^ | 10/10/07 | Michael Reagan

Tuesday night’s debate between the Republican candidates for the GOP presidential nomination showed once again why the majority of conservatives can’t get excited over any of the current hopefuls.

Widely touted by the media as show-and-tell time for Fred Thompson – as the appearance that would make or break his candidacy – all that emerged from his corner was an acceptable performance, neither hot nor cold.

On the subject of the debate -- the economy -- Duncan Hunter showed the best grasp of the facts, especially the trade issue, while Thompson basically spoke in platitudes on the subject.

As Ann Coulter wrote in her new book, the best-qualified of all the candidates is Rep. Duncan Hunter. During the debate he was the candidate who provided the best information about the economy and had a first-rate suggestion of what we need to do.

He keyed in on what must be one of the most important economic issues – trade.

He talked about our shocking $800 billion trade deficit, and what the Chinese are doing to us. Duncan understands that when anybody cites Ronald Reagan as a free-trade advocate in defense of our present trade policies, they need to remember that in my dad's playbook, protection of the American people came before anything else.

Take the case of Harley-Davidson. My father protected this American manufacturer of motorcycles against lower-priced Japanese imports. When he acted in behalf of an American company, Kawasaki and Honda reacted by moving their plants to the U.S. and created American jobs for American workers.

His policy was so successful that although he gave five years of protective tariffs to Harley-Davison, they didn’t even need that long a time before they could turn their company around. Given a level playing field they proved their superiority as an American manufacturer.

Ronald Reagan did the same thing with semiconductors, and the auto and steel industries. He also forced the Japanese and others to open up their markets to American products so that trade would be fair. When that didn’t happen he would impose tariffs on those products coming into the U.S., thus protecting American manufacturers.

Sure, he was a free trader who wanted too open up trade, but he always sought first to protect the sovereignty of the United States and its manufacturing base. He did not confuse free trade with giving the store away.

The effects of our current trade policies and the horrendous trade deficit they have produced are a gun pointed at the heart of our economy, and the Republican who can stand up and tell the truth about this problem and its solutions will be the one who emerges from the pack.

Tamar Jacoby, you lied.....again!

Tamar Jacoby, joined at the hip with all those other 'comprehensive' reform traitors, was on the Lars Larson Radio show last night. Among other distortions, she argued with Larson that Hispanic illegal aliens have an 85% graduation rate! NOT!

High School Graduation Rates in the United States
This study examines high school graduates rates in the US. It reports that the national graduation rate for the class of 1998 was 71%. For white students the rate was 78%, while it was 56% for African-American students and 54% for Latino students. (NOTE! This study is from the the Manhatten Inst. - the same group Jacoby works out of!)
From the Pew Hispanic Center:
Foreign-born youths are significant contributors to the nation's teen school dropout population. Only 8 percent of the nation's teens are foreign born, but nearly 25 percent of teen school dropouts were born outside the United States, according to a Pew Hispanic Center analysis of data from the 2000 U.S. Census.

Many of these foreign-born school dropouts–nearly 40 percent–are recent arrivals to this country who were already behind in school before they left for the United States.
According to NCES produced data on dropout rates for 2002 by race and ethnicity, one third of dropouts were Hispanics.

By a margin of two-to-one, the American public prefers amnesty -NOT!

There is a full force effort to push amnesty by stealth and deception that started last weekend. The Bush administration is going around the legislative process to push more ‘guest workers’....30 million of ‘em just isn’t enough. Witness these headlines buried in the overlooked Sunday News.

Last night I heard the biggest propaganda piece to come down the pike! It was put out by America’s Majority, Richard Nadler, also former Political Director of the front group Republican Leadership Coalition – which made Public Citizen’s 2002 list of “shadowy” 527 organizations.

I thought the ad was a parody, it was so blatantly incorrect. They said the majority polled (their own internal poll that defies all others!) want amnesty......democrats, independents, republicans....and by golly, talk radio has distorted the truth about the public opinion! This ad ran immediately after a news item about the shortage of ‘foreign labor’ and how expensive lettuce will be. It was on Coast to Coast, AM780, around midnight pacific time. Their ads were played on every commercial through the night.

Their ‘immigration project’ page says essentially the same thing. This, along with other NGO groups have hi jacked the 'conservative' movement.

About Us

Americas Majority was founded to increase the constituency for conservative causes: free market economics, international anti-totalitarianism, and morals based on Jewish and Christian scriptures.

Methodologically, Americas Majority communicates primarily with groups whose affinity for conservative issues exceeds their historical identification with such issues. Our guiding theory is that a lasting conservative majority can be built only when the advantages of conservative policy are broadcast clearly and directly to all groups that comprise the American polity – not merely those with whom such issues have been historically associated.

We are launching a nationwide campaign defending the Bush administration’s approach to comprehensive immigration reform and those who support it.

The Senate’s failure to pass S. 1639 most obviously affects border security. Congress will enter 2008 without funding for additional fence, border agents, or holding beds, and a without a system of tamper-proof employee identification. The policy of the United States remains what it was: de facto amnesty along an uncontrolled border.

But the collateral damage to the conservative movement, largely self-inflicted, is also severe.

Morally, the popular and formal organs of the political Right invoked the civil infraction of crossing an unenforced border as the rationale for mass punishment of illegals and their employers – a punititve overkill of monumental proportions.

Economically, the popular and formal organs of the political Right invoked such Marxist canards as Ricardo’s iron law of wages and the fictitious decline of the middle class. The interests of the employers of illegals — farmers, ranchers, food processors, service industries, high tech, and small business – were disregarded at best, deprecated at worst.
“Politically, the popular and formal organs of the political Right comported themselves as if 32 million Hispanic American citizens could be disregarded when discussing the fate of 12 million Hispanic illegals; and as if the demographics of the West and South were irrelevant.

A substantial portion of the political Right fell prey to the talk-radio-fed delusion that support for deportation of illegals exceeded support for their amnesty among the general public. The truth is precisely opposite, as polling by the Americas Majority Foundation has confirmed. By a margin of two-to-one, the American public prefers to amnesty illegal aliens, either as guest workers, or as eventual citizens.

The self-fed delusion of the unpopularity of Hispanic migrant labor led most of the informal organs of the political Right to attack those conservative, pro-Hispanic politicians of the South and West who harbored no such delusions. Regrettably, many of the formal organs of the political right followed suit. In the process, conservative prospects have been severely damaged in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, Florida, and Texas.

Conservatives without borders

Conservative Campaign Supports Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants

[snip]What do we make of this? As the CNSNews article says, this is a ‘self-described conservative’ group. And in my opinion they are preaching a very anti-conservative message. I find it odd that they refer to ‘the conservative movement’ rather than to the Republican Party as usual. What is that about? Do these people imagine that those they blame for stopping amnesty can be won over by these ‘audio messages’? Who is the target audience? The mushy moderates, like Mona Charen? They are already on board. Or are the messages aimed at American-born Hispanics? If they are aimed at fractious conservatives, I would think that a less condescending approach would be more fruitful.

The group’s name, ‘America’s Majority’, is dishonest and manipulative. They say outright that the majority of Americans favor amnesty, and they imply that talk radio extremists worked the rednecks and yokels up to oppose it and thwart the will of the pro-amnesty majority. This is all disingenuous, if not outright mendacious.

Mexican Drug Cartels growing on our LANDS!

Mexican marijuana growers deported

Three Mexican men arrested during a raid on a large outdoor marijuana farm near the Yuba River in July were deported this week after a Nevada County judge sentenced them to three years of probation.

Blas Jimenez-Nava, 51; Armando Alonso Ramos, 37; and Gutberto Santana-Garcia, 25, were picked up Tuesday by officials with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office and deported to Mexico, according to officers at Wayne Brown Correctional Facility in Nevada City, where the men had been jailed since their July 13 arrests.

All three men were poor farmers forced to tend the illegal farm by people with high positions in the drug trade who threatened to kill them and their families if they did not cooperate, Jimenez-Nava told his defense lawyer, Greg Klein of Nevada City.

"Who knows if that's really the case," Klein said Wednesday. "That's what he said - that they were so far down the food chain. But that could be a story these guys told."

He said the men could have been poor farmers, called "campesinos" in Mexico, who were offered a cut of the profits in exchange for their compliance.

Mexican citizens arrested during pot raids may encounter violence after deportation at the hands of cartel or mafia members who force them into the work, Nevada County narcotics investigator Jason Spillner said.

Agents from regions across the state meet for de-briefings where they gather information on drug trade trends. At these conferences, Spillner said, investigators have mentioned convicts who allegedly were killed upon their deportation to Mexico.

"We don't know first-hand what takes place because we're not standing there," Spillner said. "A lot of it is the rumor mill, and while we don't know it for a fact, but we hear that, sometimes, this takes place."

No one at the Mexican General Consulate in Sacramento was available Wednesday to comment on the deportation of the men or whether they or their families were in any danger.

Nevada County narcotics agents and federal investigators confiscated 19,138 plants and two handguns from the plantation near Independence Trail, off Highway 49 north of Nevada City, where the men were arrested.

With an interpreter present in court, the men pleaded no contest Sept. 20 to one charge each of cultivating marijuana.

Nevada County Judge Julie McManus sentenced the men to 100 days in jail and three years of probation.

The judge, prosecutor and all three defense lawyers agreed the sentence was the best option, Klein said.

At the time of sentencing, each man had credit for time served and good time credits, according to court records.

McManus ordered the men to provide a residential address to the court by mail within two weeks of their arrival in Mexico.

The likelihood of that happening is slim, Klein said.

"I don't know why they would," Klein said. "They don't have to if they're in Mexico."

Azatlan? Wait just a damn minute!

Remember a few years back how some blacks decided they wanted reparations for slavery? It turned out some of the ones wanting dollars for abused ancestors came from the wrong side of Africa. In other words, where no slaving vessels ventured. Their claim wasn’t based on ancestral suffering at America’s hand, but only on race.

The same is true of our neighbors south of the border who claim the US Southwest is free territory because a few Indians from Mexico once lived there. Think about our own native American tribes. The Cherokee, Sioux, Navajo, all of them, had little in common. Not culture, looks, speech, spiritual or community beliefs.

Now, some of these folks come in and claim the same right who are from the south part of Mexico and El Salvador, Columbia and points south. No one, ever remotely related to these folks EVER lived in our USA South West. Those that did, congregated with the Spanish Missions and stayed in the United States as citizens and I can assure you their children never returned to Mexico!

On the other hand, how about our ancestors who once lived in Mexico. How many of us are part Cherokee? Millions. Did you know that Sequoyah, the man who created the Cherokee Alphabet, is believed to be buried in Mexico? Well, Cousins? Perhaps we should go south and take "OUR" country back.

Does it get any more insane than this???

Must see video! A Marine takes a stand.

DUNCAN HUNTER

The rest don't seem to want to talk about it.

#13. Do you support the Law of the Sea Treaty? If not, will you revoke it if it passes before you take office?

Hunter: No, in the past I have opposed the Law of the Sea Treaty. I expect that to continue. There are serious issues of sovereignty involved, and as in the past, I have no intention of letting US sovereignty be eroded.

Question to Ron Paul supporters.

I'm curious. I get that you, and me as well, hate war. But I'm at a loss as to what Mr. Paul has in mind for protection from foreign influences and terrorism.

Paul wants the patriot act and any legislation like it ended, even though no one can show abuses of it.

Paul refused to vote for military to patrol our borders. So he doesn't plan on stopping them there.

Paul voted for Most favored nation trade status for China, stating he was for the same for Iran, Iraq, etc. and would never use economic sanctions against any country.

In March, Paul requested millions to build the Texas Leg of the Nafta Superhighway.

So what is Paul's plan to protect Americans?

The resolution recognized “the Islamic faith as one of the great religions of the world,” rejected “hatred, bigotry and violence directed against Muslims, both in the United States and worldwide”

Representative Duncan Hunter is clear: NAU plan exists

Congressman and presidential candidate Duncan Hunter offers clarity and minces no words in stating that there is a plan to create a North American Union similar to the European Union.

"As you know, the North American Union (NAU) is a proposed international government encompassing the nations of Canada, the U.S., and Mexico similar to the European Union. The proposal was defined in a May 2005 Council on Foreign Relations task force report. This proposal is an expansion of the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP). SPP was launched in March 2005 reportly to increase security through greater information sharing among the three countries."

Duncan Hunter is one of the co-sponsors on HCR 40 expressing the sense of Congress that the U.S. should not enter into a North American Union or engage in the construction of a NAFTA superhighway system. We need more Representatives like Duncan Hunter to stand up and state clearly what is going on under the SPP umbrella. If you see Congressman Hunter on his presidential campaign trail, thank him for his candor on this important issue.

Why Duncan Hunter? DUNCAN HUNTER ON THE ISSUES

Why Duncan Hunter? The best man for the job!

Every Year Hundreds of illegal Immigrants die trying to cross the border.

Every Year Illegal Immigrants cost the federal government ten billion dollars ($10,000,000,000), which is all paid for by the taxpayers (and amnesty will not end that)

Since 1993
An estimated 1.4 Million people, via the Mexican/US border have been sent into poor, unfair working conditions, or into slavery through the worldwide human trafficking market.

Since 9/11
48,000 Americans have been murdered by Illegal Immigrants

Illegal Immigration is today's greatest American tragedy

Who will end it?

Rudy Giuliani?
-His law firm represents an organization closely connected to the North American Free Trade Agreement, an agreement that is largely to blame for our open borders, and is dependent on having open borders.
-He upheld Illegal Immigrant sanctuary laws in New York as mayor, which prevented law enforcers from finding out about whether immigrants were illegal or not.
-When the federal government threatened his sanctuary laws he sued. After losing the lawsuit, he kept the sanctuary laws in place anyway. So much for law and order.

John McCain?
-Three words: McCain-Kennedy bill (plus a long history of such attempts at immigration reform). The bill would have enlarged NAFTA along with providing amnesty.

Mitt Romney?
-He has yet to make his mind up on anything.
-He has supported John McCain's earlier Immigration reforms and only recently "changed his mind."
-Illegal Immigrants do the landscaping at his house.

Fred Thompson?
-He thinks John McCain is the leader on reform in Washington.
-He voted against punishment on companies hiring illegals.
-He voted against a pilot program to make citizenship verification easy and simple for companies.
-He has a C minus from Americans for Better Immigration.

Again, who will end this tragedy?

There is ONE candidate who has proven that he cares.

Congressman Duncan Hunter

He has a perfect rating from Americans for Better Immigration.
He voted against NAFTA and its sister deal, CAFTA.
He has NEVER voted for amnesty.
He comes from a border state, so he knows firsthand the troubles of Illegal Immigration.
He already began a triple-layered fence in San Diego:

-With three layers - one 8-foot fence, a border patrol road behind it, and another, 15-foot fence behind THAT - it is far more secure than nothing at all.
-This fence lowered the trafficking of humans and drugs by 90% in San Diego!
-It lowered crime by 53% in San Diego!
-He wrote a bill that the president WILL NOT ENFORCE to finish this fence across 854 miles of smugglers' routes across the border.
-He has sought to build a fence across the entire Southern border.

What about the rest of his credentials?

-He has an A+ from the NRA
-He has a 100% rating from the National Right to Life
-He has a 100% rating from the Americans for Better Immigration
-He supports the Fair Tax
-He has a 100% rating from the Eagle Forum
-He has a plan to overturn Roe v. Wade
-He promises to finish the fence within 6 months if he becomes president.
-He will appoint Originalist judges, who will interpret the Constitution as it was written (as they should).
-He has a plan to balance the budget
-He has a plan to cut spending
-He promises to end trade deals with China that are cheating us out of millions, deals enacted by Bill Clinton
- www.selectsmart.com took a poll asking people to describe the ideal candidate without picking names. The results were compared to current candidates, and 69% described Duncan Hunter
-He beat John McCain in a straw poll in McCain's own state
-He tied for second in a straw poll in California
-He's won multiple straw polls in South Carolina, coming in second and third in others as well.
-He has 26 years of experience
-He is a Vietnam war veteran
-His son has fought in Iraq and is now in Afghanistan
-He was Chair of the Armed Services Committee
-National Journal ranks him as the most conservative member of Congess running for president.
