Bush Rededicates The Islamic Center of D.C. (Barfer!)

TheTownCrier

Today President Bush re-dedicated the Islamic Institute with abundant words of praise for Islam. This is the same Institute he went to days after 9/11 and proclaimed Islam a "religion of peace'. The same Imam who claimed Bush was behind 9/11!

Well, this is what you get when you let the likes of corrupt, Muslim convert, lobbyist Grover Norquist be your #1 advisor on religion,trade, immigration and heaven help us what else.

And NO! this immigration fiasco courtesy Bush/Kennedy/LaRaza/Chamberof Commerce is NOT just about poor Mexican peasants. LOTS of illegal muslims just waiting.....

Contrast that with history!

John Quincy Adams wrote in 1829:

“The precept of the Koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God. The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet, may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propagate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force”.

VideoFest: ANSWER, Brown Supremecists Get Pwn3d By Various Patriots
Here they are after throwing a bottle of water at an elderly women, screaming hate at her in Spanish, and mocking her:

Watch a pro-illegal nutjob try spitting on the anti-illegal protestors get punked by the police:

And here we have some loud-mouthed b*tches chanting "La Raza something" slinging racist, foul-mouthed hate at protesters who have the audacity to suggest that the laws of our country be enforced:

And here, we have a Mexican racist telling anti-illegals to "go back to Europe." Wonder who he votes for - we're apparently racist, murdering, thieving, illegal citizens here in the US:

And we leave with a drunk, loud racist scraming for us to "go back to Germany," and even yelling "Viva Saddam Hussein" at one point.

Now go PASS that amnesty! The survival of the nation depends on letting these racists get what they're demanding!

Congressional Earmark (PORK) disclosures..

CNN did a survey and reported results today of our representatives in the house.
• Interactive: What did your representative say?
Is your representative in Congress willing to share his or her list of earmark requests for 2008? CNN called the offices of 435 members of the House to ask whether they would make their lists public. Only 31 members' offices provided a list; of the others, 68 declined and 329 did not respond. Use the menus below to find out what your representative said.
(Download the full list - PDF)

District: California 52
Rep. Duncan L. Hunter (R)
Response: No

District: Colorado 06
Rep. Tom Tandcredo (R)
Response: No response

District: Texas 14
Rep. Ron Paul (R)
Response: Yes
View list (PDF)

Remember, Earmarks go in secretly. No debate, no objection, they just get slipped in a bill, usually unrelated to the earmark, usually by pleasing the leadership about something, usually only benefitting a particular district instead of the country.

In my opinion, any candidate for president should pledge to not participate in this unrepresentative practice. Or at least be willing to let the public know what he/she wants to spend their money on. Unfortunately, those not in the house of reps don't have to meet this scrutiny, which is a convenient hit for CNN against candidates they want nothing to do with anyway.

UPDATE: 6/24/07

Duncan Hunter has disclosed his earmarks. Good on him!!

Here's a sample of a Duncan Hunter 'earmark' ---- compare protecting the border with Ron Pauls $13 Million for the Nafta/Mexico to Canada Highway.....

Amount: $22 million

Hunter Initiative: Southwest Border Fence

Contractor: National Guard

The Southwest border continues to be a heavily utilized human and drug smuggling corridor into the United States. Since 1990, 7.6 miles of double layer fencing, 59 miles of single fencing and 169.5 miles of road have been constructed and rehabilitated along this prolific smuggling corridor. As a result, drug traffic in the region has drastically declined and the smuggling corridor allowing easy access between metropolitan areas has been eliminated. Completing the fence construction project in San Diego will allow counter drug assets to be re-deployed in other areas.
Funding will be used to continue work on the 14-mile double fence infrastructure project and construct at least 10 miles of double fencing at the Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, Arizona.

PLEASE! SIGN SEN. INHOFE PETITION TO STOP AMNESTY!

http://www.securebordersnow.com/

This is a great tool to use in this battle. PLEASE sign it now! Then forward to everyone. The Senate/Whitehouse is adding more and more problems with each day to immigration 'reform' (which it ain't, AMNESTY, which it is!)

INHOFE ANNOUNCES ONLINE PETITION FOR AMERICANS TO SUPPORT BORDER SECURITY AND NO-AMNESTY IMMIGRATION REFORM Press release

(JUNE 15, 2007) - U.S. Senator James Inhofe (R-Okla.) today announced "Secure Borders Now" (www.SecureBordersNow.com), a new website for Americans to urge the Senate to consider immigration reform that focuses on enforcing existing border security laws and opposition to amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants.

"Unfortunately it appears many in the Senate remain deaf to the voices of the American people, as yet another backroom deal has emerged designed to revive the fatally flawed immigration bill and its immediate path to amnesty. The 'Secure Borders Now' petition gives Americans an opportunity to voice their opposition. I hope my constituents and citizens from all across our country will take action, sign the petition and show how many Americans are strongly opposed to this bill."

"Despite the promise of increased funding for border security and additional votes on a handful of amendments, the proposed legislation will continue to shortcut the current naturalization process and grant amnesty to 12 to 20 million illegal immigrants currently in our country. That is a trade off that I simply cannot support.

"The first step in any significant immigration legislation must be securing our borders and enforcing existing laws. It is unconscionable to make border security conditional on the guarantee of amnesty. Even with the promise of additional funding for border security, the Senate bill focuses far too much on controversial and irresponsible programs such as the 'Z-visa' (which I voted to eliminate), and far too little on ensuring that our borders are no longer porous.

"I have stated from the outset of this immigration debate that I will vehemently oppose any legislation that guarantees amnesty for illegal immigrants, unfairly burdens taxpayers or fails to secure our borders.

"It is time that we deal with real immigration reform beginning with border security. This is the best way to restore trust with the American people and facilitate future improvement of our immigration policy."

On Tuesday, Senator Inhofe joined eight Senators in writing a letter to President Bush urging him to fulfill the border security provisions listed in the Senate immigration bill whether the legislation passes or not. Each border security trigger in the bill can be implemented under current law without any need for new legislation from Congress.

A Rasmussen Reports national phone survey conducted June 11 and 12, found that only 20 percent of voters wanted Congress to try and pass the Senate bill that failed last week. Sixty-nine percent favored an approach that focused "exclusively on securing the border and reducing illegal immigration."

Inhofe has a bill sitting in the judiciary committee of the Senate!! WE need to make them get it out to vote on! The ENFORCE ACT is a good piece of legislation that ties up a lot of loopholes, short and sweet.

What does 20 million people actually look like?

Do you realize if this AMNESTY happens we are in effect creating the equivilent of adding over 17 more states to this country? And that’s not even considering the chain migration that is in the Senate bill.

Please look at what giving amnesty to as many as 20,000,000 illegal alien foreign nationals actually represents. More than the population of 16 states and DC!

According to the 2000 census, 18,785,867 is the total populations combined of Wyoming, Dist. of Columbia, Vermont, Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Delaware, Montana, Rhode Island, Hawaii, New Hampshire, Maine, Idaho, Nebraska, West Virginia, New Mexico and Nevada.

THINK about that!
____________

Basically what we’re talking about is building infrastructure on demand for the population of at LEAST 17 STATES!

You know all those jobs everyone keeps saying only aliens will do? We wouldn’t need to supply the JOBS if we didn’t have the ALIENS! It’s them we’re building schools, houses, clinics, Mosques, MEXICAN consulates on and on for. And there is about enough of them working agriculture to produce some of the food they eat.

Any one who says 20 plus million people is not a drain on your resources is hopelessly corrupt! But it won’t be only 20 million, it will result in 80 million if other amnesties show us anything.
Then we'll be talking but half the nation.

My NEXT phone call to my Senators.

Hello, My name is Kimberly ..... and I would like to leave a message for Senator......

“Oh, its you, again” (I’m just waiting for THAT response!)

Yes, it’s me...I’d like to know if Senator Voinovich is aware that there are far more than 12 million illegal aliens in this country already and it is clear that our government’s use of that number is entirely meant to mislead the public.

“Is that your message?”.

Yes, I resent continuing to be treated as if I’m stupid. Apparently our Senators aren’t aware that Homeland Security has reported that 10 million illegal aliens entered the country just last year alone?

“That it?”

No. Actually, it isn’t...I’d also like you to give this message to Senator V. as well, so please take this down....Senator V., are you aware that according to the 2000 census, 18,785,867 was the total populations combined of Wyoming, Dist of Columbia, Vermont,...are you writing this down?

“Yes ma’am”

Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Delaware.

“Is there more”

Yes. Montana, Rhode Island, Hawaii, and New Hampshire. Are you still writing this down?

“Yes mam”

Maine, Idaho, Nebraska, West Virgina, New Mexico AND AND Nevada.

Now, can you read that message back to me, I’d like to make certain that before Senator Voinovich passes AMNESTY for illegal aliens, that he knows EXACTLY the extent to which he is destroying this country.

Go ahead, I’m listening....

Time for a JAMES MADISON LESSON

Too much news today, let's learn something.

James Madison, Fourth President 1809-1817, often referred to as the 'Father of the Constitution', Madison protested that the document was not "the off-spring of a single brain," but "the work of many heads and many hands."

"The internal effects of a mutable policy poisons the blessings of liberty itself. "
"The loss of liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or imagined, from abroad." "The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home. "

"
The truth is that all men having power ought to be mistrusted. "

"We are right to take alarm at the first experiment upon our liberties."

"Where an excess of power prevails, property of no sort is duly respected. No man is safe in his opinions, his person, his faculties, or his possessions.
"

"I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments by those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations. "

"And I have no doubt that every new example will succeed, as every past one has done, in showing that religion and Government will both exist in greater purity, the less they are mixed together. "

"Americans have the right and advantage of being armed - unlike the citizens of other countries whose governments are afraid to trust the people with arms. "

In Tom Tancredos defense- Republican debate

uhhhh, another presidential debate.....

Duncan Hunter did good, he held his own, for the little time and questions they gave him. Let's face it, this was the Rudy McCain Show. They both just went on and on.....Did CNN have to be SO obvious about it???

I thought Romney and Gilmore made some good points. So did Ron Paul. Mike Huckabee? That man sure can preach! I'd attend his church any Sunday. We need him to take over the Falwell/Graham role as spiritual spokesman of the country.

Tancredo said he'd cut off all immigration until we have some time to assimilate ourselves and the mass of humanity that has been dropped among us, EXCEPT for asylum seekers and family members of US Citizens.

Unfortunately, the debate was framed from the idea that Tancredo said he would end all immigration, and the ones that CNN chose to speak after him never bothered with the distinction and Tancredo or Hunter weren't able to address it again.

First, we are soon going to have several million Iraqi refugees seeking asylum for having sided with the USA in this war. The first 100,000 are already on their way.

Second, we admit thousands of asylum seekers every year. One year 120,000 from floods in Central America alone! We should be taking some from their suffering in the Sudan.

Third, no one seemed to understand or care what chain migration is. That's when legal immigrants get to bring in their families. Every year we do that as well and if we put an end to all the confused lottery, visa nonsense we could allow in a few more family members. A cyber friend has a Russian born immigrant wife who has been legal for years and this goverment won't let her bring her own daughter in, just wait, wait, wait, pay, pay, pay.

Tancredo did not argue to END IMMIGRATION as you will be told by the media and other candidates. He's just talking about knocking the numbers down to a million or two a year until we can fix this nightmare!

Best line of the night- FIRST yes or no answer as well!: Shouldn’t the GOP nationally be following that Arnold Schwarzenegger example in California?

REP. HUNTER: No. (Laughter.) And let me just say, you know, I look at Governor Romney, Mayor Giuliani, my good friend John McCain. Governor Romney joined with Bill Clinton for the 1994 gun ban when I was fighting that. Mayor Giuliani stood with him at the White House on that. Governor Romney has passed what I consider to be a major step toward socialism with respect to his mandated health care bill. John McCain is standing strong with Ted Kennedy on this Kennedy- McCain-Bush border enforcement bill.

I think the guy who’s got the most influence right here with these three gentlemen is Ted Kennedy. And I think we need to move away from the Kennedy Wing of the Republican Party. (Applause.)
_________________________

The five dumbest aspects of the Senate's immigration reform legislation.
Lou Dobbs

Number five: Taxpayers will be paying for the immigration attorneys for illegal aliens if they are working in agriculture.

Number four: Illegal aliens would be given legal status one day after their application is filed, even if a background check is not completed within the required 24 hours.

Number three: Gang members will be eligible for amnesty if they would be so kind as to renounce their gang status.

Number two: Borders do not have to be secure before this amnesty program begins.

But the number-one dumbest thing in this bill: $2.6 trillion. That is the estimated cost that the Heritage Foundation says will be required to cover the retirement benefits of 12 million illegal aliens if this amnesty legislation becomes law.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Footnote! 7/13/07 from the article, U.S. still struggling to bring in Iraqi refugees
The Bush administration authorized the resettlement of 70,000 refugees to the U.S. this year. (none of them Iraqi, but a handful)
Deadheads: Free Trade, Globalism and the Grateful Dead
TheTownCrier
I only witnessed the phenomena once, in Eugene, Oregon about 15 years ago. The ordinary quiet college city was suddenly transformed into a vertical and horizontal display of psychedelic automotive wonder. We’d just arrived in town to visit friends and every street we turned on was full of them.
Deadheads. Adoring, if not addicted fans of the rock group The Grateful Dead, filled hand painted buses and vans. Some of them even had a passenger car welded to the top of buses going ‘double decker’. Driving pinched between the stoned drivers of these colorful unique vehicles reminded me of being a child riding along in a boat at Disneyland in the “It’s a small world” attraction with MUCH different music and no cute dolls, just hairy pitted, sagging breasted, single minded, loud, obnoxious hippies.
Over the years, having been involved in political forum discussions, a few posters have established themselves as self anointed experts on all things economic from trade to cheap labor. It’s always about the ‘bottom line’ and ANY means justify that end, whether ethical, moral, exploitive or illegal, just make that dollar and take it from anyone vulnerable that you can. And anyone who dares object to being the target of such less-than-honorable economic schemes is well, just useless and annoying, at best.
They are the ones that are always for any trade deal any where on earth pushed out of the White House and congress, current and past. They don’t really care what the endless mountains of pages contain save two things. Will it get them cheap labor and cheap imports? In other words can they eventually screw their own customers out of their jobs.
Globalism, not community is what matters and they don’t worry about the long term. These are the same type are who came to America and almost wiped out the herds of buffalo, just because they could. After the civil war they called them carpetbaggers. That’s why you never see this type in farming, crafting, building or anything that must depend on the future of a community. And they are just plain too lazy to indulge in honest work. But somehow they always manage to be in our faces to set us straight.
Deadheads. Dazed to the pain they cause in the world around them, blindly following their idolatry through town after town, leaving a trail of garbage and discontent. But they aren’t as harmless as the rock groupies. Our new globalist adoring Deadheads destroy industries, jobs, security, communities and lives.
And then they tell us how stupid, uneducated and unenlightened we are because we dare object that it is our pocket they are picking to pay for their instant monetary gratification.
Deadheads. Self indulgent, arrogant, rude and smelly. They’re just lacking the pretty colors.
It’s a small world, after all.
Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted -- and you create a nation of law-breakers -- and then you cash in on guilt. Thre’s another big reason to push for defeat of the bill, if you want to play a little hardball with the Pols.
Bush refusing to enforce the borders and go after his business friends who hire illegal workers is a simple case of government corruption. Shades of Boss Tweed.
The cost of digging a ditch is what it is. When the government allows business to pass off some of its costs to the government treasury illegaly, it is undermining the free labor market.
The free labor market only works well under the rule of law - everybody playing by the same rules. When some companies cheat other companies have to cheat to stay competitive. The way a lot of companies are cheating today is by hiring illegal workers, paying them below market labor costs, and letting the taxpayer make up for it with health care, education, food stamps, etc. To me, it’s looking like a case of old-style government corruption on a massive scale.
I can only conclude that any politician that supports this bill is corrupt. (they think they can call me a racist, do they? I call them corrupt.)
Immigrations costs to you!
This chart shows how illegal immigrants over use our social services. JUST imagine what it will be like when they are all LEGAL...
Mexican Use of Means-Tested Programs Remains High Even After Welfare Reform. Figure 12 reports use of means-tested programs for households headed by natives, all immigrants, and Mexican immigrants. Despite welfare reform and a strong economy in the latter half of the 1990s, the figure shows that immigrants in general and Mexican households in particular use every major means-tested program at higher rates than natives. While use of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) by Mexican households is only slightly higher than that of natives, their use of TANF/general assistance, food stamps, Medicaid, and the subsidized school lunch program is dramatically higher than households headed by natives. All of these programs are very large in size. In 1999, more than $300 billion was spent on the means-tested programs listed in Figure 12. Even the school lunch program, the smallest of the programs listed in the figure, costs more than $5 billion annually.
Not only do immigrants use welfare programs at higher rates than natives, their use of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) is also substantially higher than that of natives. With an annual cost of $32 billion, the EITC is the nation’s largest means-tested cash assistance program for workers with low incomes. Persons receiving the EITC pay no federal income tax and instead receive cash assistance from the government based on their earnings and family size.
