Fifteen authors offer this "Conservative Statement of Principles on Immigration":

In his farewell address to the nation, President Reagan said: "I've spoken of the Shining City all my political life . . . [I]n my mind it was . . . teeming with people of all kinds living in harmony and peace, a city with free ports that hummed with commerce and creativity. And if there had to be city walls, the walls had doors and the doors were open to anyone with the will and heart to get here."

America is a nation of immigrants. Except for Native American Indians, everyone in this country came to America or is here due to the good fortune that a parent, grandparent, or other relation came before them. Keeping a door open to those with the "will and heart to get here" is vital to our economy, our culture, our role in the world, and our historic tradition as a land of freedom and opportunity.

Conservatives believe in legal immigration. We believe that America grows stronger by welcoming those who seek to better their families, work in our industries, and find liberty and refuge from oppression.

Conservatives oppose illegal immigration. We believe there is a right way and a wrong way to immigrate to the U.S. However, as conservatives we believe that our laws must reflect reality and common sense, be fiscally responsible, and avoid the loss of innocent life. Our current immigration laws do not pass this test.

Between 1990 and 2000, the U.S. increased the number of Border Patrol Agents from 3,600 to 10,000. During that same period illegal immigration rose by 5.5. million. Moreover, over the past eight years, more than 2,000 men, women, and children have died attempting to cross into America and seek the opportunity to work and achieve a better life. The status quo is unacceptable and clinging to the status quo -- or tougher versions of it -- is neither conservative nor principled. It has become clear that the only viable approach to reform is combining enforcement with additional legal avenues for those who wish to work in our economy, while also addressing the situation of those already here in the U.S.

President Bush has proposed a new legal path to work in the U.S. through a temporary worker program that will match willing workers with willing employers. We applaud the president and believe his approach holds great promise to reduce illegal immigration and establish a humane, orderly, and economically sensible approach to migration that will aid homeland security and free up border-security assets to focus on genuine threats. The president has shown courage by calling on Congress to place reality over rhetoric and recognize that those already working here outside the law are unlikely to leave. Congress can fulfill its role by establishing sufficient increases in legal immigration and paths to permanent residence to enable more workers to stay, assimilate, and become part of America.

We believe strongly in assimilation and oppose efforts to weaken the historical process that has led to e pluribus unum. While immigrants by and large reject entreaties by those who favor multiculturalism, the best defense is a good offense: making the teaching of English and civics a priority in our schools, community colleges, and adult education programs.

Immigrants are crucial to our competitiveness and future labor and economic growth, as well as our military strength. Our country's welcoming attitude to immigrants will permit the U.S. to grow and prosper, as the populations of many other nations stagnate and decline. Each generation of Americans must connect our nation's past to its future and in so doing keep President Reagan's vision of the "Shining City" alive.

Newt Gingrich, Conservative? NOT on immigration!

Some wise man said, "The only indicator of future behavior is past behavior".

There is lots of hype lately from the K St Crowd, that Gingrich helped found, to push him for president as the only "conservative" in the race. Newt has his finger in the wind, and is finding that Americans want immigration controlled, so now he's suddenly on "our side". Don't believe it!

Let me remind you of a few FACTS.

In his much touted 'Contract with America'....NOT one word about immigration. In fact only recently has Newt even talked about immigration enforcement. In the letter below, he joins other open border lobbyists proclaiming Bush's amnesty is the 'only way to go'.

Newt's voting record on immigration....pretty bad! Per Numbers USA and others: " Leans toward higher immigration, population growth, foreign labor. I can find nothing, in all the years that Gingrich was in office where he ever introduced or worked for legislation that would control our borders.

His close and long lasting association with Grover Norquist (open border White house policy maker), Jack Abramoff, Ralph Reed should cause concern.

I won't even get into all of Newts money and corruption scandals over these many years or the fact that Newt never met a NAFTA/CAFTA type trade agreement he didn't love.

Illegal alien arrested for abduction, sexual assault of 9-year-old in California

On Tuesday, police in Riverside announced that Jose Wilson Rojas Guzman, 30, was being charged for the brutal abduction of a 9-year-old girl. The crime occurred on May 8.
According to police, Guzman entered the girl’s bedroom through an unlocked window as she slept.

She was allegedly taken from the home by Guzman, and violently sexually assaulted before being dumped out of his pickup truck. The victim’s two younger siblings, who were also sleeping in the family’s apartment, were not harmed.

The girl went to nearby homes and began knocking on doors, screaming for help. She was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Riverside Police Chief Sergio G. Diaz, told reporters: “This is a particularly brutal crime. We'd be very surprised, given what we know about sexual predators, that this was his first time out.... It's altogether possible that this individual left the victim for dead. Her injuries were that severe.

At one time, the Mexican national rented a room from the girl’s mother. He was first questioned on May 9, and held by Immigration and Customs Enforcement until he was charged on Tuesday.

Guzman has been charged with attempted murder, kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault.
He is currently being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside on an ICE detainer. Investigators believe that Guzman may have victimized other girls in the area and are asking that anyone with information about the kidnapping or Guzman was to call Riverside Police Det. Roberta Hopewell at (951) 353-7124

So, I go out and get the mail...and what do I see...a letter from MARCO RUBIO.  This time he is  fund raising for the Club for Growth!

 Question..WHY?? I'm not registered as a republican and sure never signed on to anything with the amnesty loving Club for Growth! They included a 'survey' for the hook, to make you think they actually give a damn about what you think! THEY DO NOT! They are behind the scenes of this amnesty! They always are! 

Yesterday in our article, "SILENCE IS CONSENT", we noted some amnesty facts about the Club for Growth, who never met a lopsided, government regulated, cheap labor agreement like Nafta they didn't love!

So, Kiddies! THE fix is IN! The Club for Growth, Freedom Works, the ACU, CPAC, ATR, SOME Tea Parties, Chamber of Commerce are NOT the Conservative groups they claim to be and are compromised. The one thing they have in common is GROVER NORQUIST and his open border friends Steve Moore, Cesar Conda, Karl Rove, et. al.  These men represent everything wrong with the GOP.   They all have every intention of facilitating this amnesty by the gang of eight!

AND yes, some of you have told me "But, but, I can't find anything from the Club or Freedom Works that SAYS they support THIS Amnesty!"....SILENCE IS CONSENT! 

YOU MUST check more into these groups you support! Who started them?  What are the positions of their board members?    MOST are run by lobbyists and do not deserve your support and actually  work for our enemies while they fund raise from the conservative base!  WHY do they do it?  Because it works...you and I have made them rich!

PS...on the  4 page Club/Rubio survey...NOT ONE WORD ABOUT IMMIGRATION! 

SILENCE IS CONSENT! WAKE UP AMERICA!  C'mon people!  If the Club is using Rubio as their fundraising spokesman, do you think they OPPOSE his immigration reform scam????? HELLO!

Now, while we're at it, I have a question for all of you.  Grover Norquist is on the board of most of the above groups, as well as the Hispanic Leadership Fund and the National Rifle Association.  And yes, I worry about that.  The NRA seems to be on the right side, so far.   But they have a 'pledge' for their chosen candidates, not unlike the oath Norquist's Americans for Tax Reform requires for their endorsement.   (BTW..Norquist lobbies for Microsoft, GE, foreign interest to keep THEIR taxes low, not you or me!...what has that group EVER done to reduce a tax for us?)

In 2010, no other candidate got more money (directly) from the Koch family than Rubio. As discussed at that link, they support organizations that advocate for loose borders. And as discussed in depth on the Marco Rubio page, he supports a massive legalization program for illegal aliens. While a direct link between him receiving their money and him promoting amnesty isn't known, t's extremely unlikely that he would have received any money from the Koch brothers if his immigration position were that of, say, Pat Buchanan.
The first organization in the list (known around here as the "Club for Profits at Any Price") doesn't appear to have taken a position on immigration, but they can be assumed to be part of the high immigration right. Their goal is to help businesses increase their profits, no matter the costs borne by everyone else. [snip...READ IT ALL!]

Newt "AMNESTY" Gingrich....Lest we forget!

Over the past few years, TheTownCrier has brought you facts about immigration and those pushing amnesty. Right at the front of the line was always CFR member, presidential wannabe Newt Gingrich, flanked by his open border, jihadist Muslim loving cohort, Grover Norquist.

Newt bashes conservatives every chance he gets and this week undermining Rep. Paul Ryan and his proposals to harness our national debt was the target. Newt will play conservative when it suits him, problem is it doesn't suit him often. Gingrich openly pushed the Bush/Kennedy/McCain AMNESTY......in a letter he wrote to the WSJ

Let me remind you of a few FACTS.
In his much touted 'Contract with America'....NOT one word about immigration. In fact only recently has Newt even talked about immigration enforcement. In the letter below, he joins other open border lobbyists proclaiming Bush's amnesty is the 'only way to go'.

You ask, so what's so interesting about this?

First, the duplicity of New Gingrich. Today, Newt wants a crackdown on the border and honesty to the people! He doesn't like the way the president has handled the immigration crisis.

Here is a portion of the letter Gingrich signed in June, 2004 along with some of the best known open border republicans, published in the Wall Street Journal. Yes, Newt, some of us read out here in the hustings.

As conservatives, we believe that the only solution is a more honest immigration policy: an approach that acknowledges international labor markets and seeks to manage the migrant flow, not simply pretend it doesn't exist. Only a more honest policy can hope to provide the workers we need, while restoring the rule of law and helping us secure our borders against genuine national security threats.”

Other voices, also claiming to be conservative, propose a very different approach. They suggest we seal the border or radically cut back on the number of foreigners we admit. Some talk of using military means; others would go so far as to try to deport the 8 million to 10 million illegal immigrants already here. These suggestions can sound appealing, particularly in a border state like Arizona. But they aren't solutions–they're wishful thinking. Conservatives, both in the White House and Congress, have a better answer...... in January, Bush outlined a set of principles that picked up on several of their best ideas. The Senate Indian Affairs Committee earlier this year subpoenaed the conservative advocacy group Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), headed by Grover Norquist, requesting information for its investigation of alleged lobbying abuses by Jack Abramoff. Citing his right to privacy, Norquist enlisted an unlikely ally in the American Civil Liberties Union.

ATR Chief of Staff Christopher Butler said a nonprofit involved in political advocacy must closely guard its fundraising and tax records.

Americans for Tax Reform, CPAC, The American Conservative Union, Freedomworks, Tea Party Express, Tea Party Patriots, Heritage, CLUB FOR GROWTH, the NRSC, NRCC and SO many more!

Every candidate PROMISED to support the GOP nominee and DEMANDED that Donald Trump SIGN and agree to do the same.   Many are breaking that pledge.
Trump has kept his word.

EVERY candidate, save ONE,  also PLEDGED  their allegiance to Grover Norquist when they signed his infamous 'pledge'.  He OWNS your GOP congress.  He OWNS over 1300 STATE legislators!  IF you don't do what the Grover Club tells you to, you will never win another election.  They have taken out many good candidates.
 
Donald Trump is the ONLY presidential GOP candidate who has not signed that UNAMERICAN oath and onto Grover/Conda's agenda.  

NONE of this is a secret!   SO many of us have tried  for years to expose this stinking mess!

To be sure, Norquist, Conda, Rove are not the only ones.  But they are generals in their sovereignty destroying army.   They involve lobbyist run Tea Parties to confuse the grass roots,  Ralph Reed and his Christian Coalition to confuse the faithful, Steven Moore who is head economist of Heritage and mouthpieces like Hugh Hewitt and likely Levin, Limbaugh, Beck and others to fool the talk radio audience.
