It's going to be hard for the Republicans to field a presidential candidate as enthusiastic about the H-1B visa as U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).
Cruz, who announced his presidential bid this morning, once proposed an immediate increase in the base H-1B cap from 65,000 to 325,000. Cruz offered the H-1B increase as an amendment in 2013 to the Senate's comprehensive immigration bill.
Cruz's amendment was defeated by the Senate's Judiciary Committee, which approved an 180,000 H-1B cap increase in the comprehensive immigration bill. The House never acted on this legislation.
Cruz's H-1B amendment, however, proposed increasing H-1B fees from $1,500 to $2,500 for those with 25 employees or more. The money would be used to create block grants to promote STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) education.

Cruz is all over the media today saying ‪Trump‬ won't be the nominee. You Cruz fans better figure out fast that he is NOT going to be fair to Trump and he is just another lawyer con man. AP Reports Bomb Has Damaged US Consulate in Mexico

Sat. The AP is reporting that a bomb has been thrown over the wall of the US consulate in Nuevo Laredo on Saturday. Nuevo Laredo is a border city in Mexico. At the time of this writing, there are no injuries.
Sunday Update: We understand the Consulate in Nuevo Loredo has been closed.

"First Lady Michelle Obama is scheduled to visit Mexico City on April 13th through 15th.

It's not clear if or how the attack would alter those plans."

The polls were WRONG....and they were meant to be wrong to influence your vote....most were taken of MORE democrats than republicans and independents were ignored.  Independents elected Donald Trump!  The media repeats  lies about polls on immigration too.  As we have shown over many years, when given neutral language, the American people ALWAYS disagree with illegal immigration and want our borders secured and the laws enforced.

2.  Trump treated everyone the same...the ONLY candidate who actually did not practice discrimination and racism.   He got over a third of the Latino vote...Latino AMERICANS who were IMMIGRANTS, NOT illegal aliens! YES, media, THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!

3.  He ran against HRC...who NO ONE LIKES.

4.  President elect Trump is....well, just plain lovable!  We are ready for straight talk! The media refused to show or discuss the HUGE crowds Trump pulled in...the biggest crowds HRC got are thse insane protests tearing up our cities!   And THIS, this is the biggest reason...we are SICK of foreign nationals marching in our streets making demands that we change our government to suit them..THAT is the very definition of TERRORISM!

When Geraldine Ferraro dared to point out that if he were white, the inexperienced Obama would not be running for president, there was such a firestorm of media outrage that Hillary Clinton had to toss her under the bus.

The Baja Safari Mexico Club's president is telling its members that they should avoid Baja California Norte. The club says it's just too dangerous to travel there in light of the recent kidnappings, which they say are happening at an alarming rate.

Some kidnapping cases include tourists being kidnapped in Tijuana and taken to an ATM where they are forced to withdraw money and give it to the kidnapper, before they are released. Other kidnapping cases go on for days with the suspects demanding thousands of dollars.

Miriam Cepeda is probably one of few — a 24-year-old Latina and a self-proclaimed “Trump girl” on the South Texas border — and she wants you to know it.

“I completely agree with Donald J. Trump’s policies as far as creating a stronger border and enforcing our border security,” said Miriam Cepeda, 24, a self-proclaimed “Trump girl.”

She volunteers for Donald Trump’s campaign in an area where 90% of its population identifies as Hispanic or Latino, and she lives in Texas’ Hidalgo County. Proof that not all of Texas votes Republican, President Barack Obama won 70% of the vote there in 2012. This is also not far from where Trump wants to build his wall with Mexico.
Cepeda is the daughter of an undocumented immigrant who once had a green card, but she doesn’t shy away from the controversial comments Trump has made about Latinos — including when he first launched his White House bid by calling Mexican immigrants “rapists.”
“I completely agree with Donald J. Trump’s policies as far as creating a stronger border and enforcing our border security,” she said. “I firsthand have seen … friends that are getting involved with illegal activity that’s associated with drugs or human trafficking. It’s an issue that people need to realize is reality.”

On Monday, June 27, four people were shot on a blueberry farm near Woodburn, in Yamhill County OR. The accused shooter killed 3 and seriously injured the 4^th.  It was learned yesterday, through inquiries by OFIR member and KXL FM 101.1 contributor David Olen Cross that the accused killer was an illegal alien who had already been deported 6 times!
