No fewer than eight major studies from around the world have found homosexuality is not a genetic condition. Peter Sprigg of the Family Research Council says that these numerous, rigorous studies of identical twins have now made it impossible to argue that there is a "gay gene." If homosexuality were inborn and predetermined, then when one identical twin is homosexual, the other should be, as well.
Yet one study from Yale and Columbia Universities found homosexuality common to only 6.7 percent of male identical twins and 5.3 percent of female identical twins.
The low rate of common homosexuality in identical twins – around six percent – is easily explained by nurture, not nature.
Researchers Peter Bearman and Hannah Brueckner concluded that environment was the determining factor. They rejected outright that "genetic influence independent of social context" as the reason for homosexuality. "(O)ur results support the hypothesis that less gendered socialization in early childhood and preadolescence shapes subsequent same-sex romantic preferences."
"Less gendered socialization" means, a boy was without a positive father figure, or a girl was without a positive mother figure.

Last month’s protests in Baltimore are still fresh in the minds of Americans. They evoked images of similar, often violent demonstrations that took place last August in Ferguson, Missouri, after the police shooting death of Michael Brown.
Well, there are still protests happening today in Ferguson – but they’re a little bit different. Here’s the first part of a statement released this week by the Millennial Activists United:

“On May 14, 2015 many individuals and organizations of the protest movement that began in Ferguson, Missouri organized a sit-in in the office of Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment (MORE). The demand was simple: Cut the checks.”

In other words: People are angry that they haven’t been paid for protesting in Ferguson as they were promised.
So who is MORE, exactly? Here’s the next sentence of the statement:

“Early in the movement, non-profit organization MORE, formerly known as the St. Louis chapter of ACORN…”

ACORN (aka Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) filed for bankruptcy in 2010 after undercover video surfaced of ACORN workers allegedly engaged in illegal activities like soliciting voter fraud.

But people, instead, spend mindless hours ...years sitting in front of a computer visiting each other's pity pots. We are ruled, on both sides of the isle, by people who care about nothing but themselves, voted in by other selfish louts or those who 'think' they know what they're voting for. ..IF they bother at all.

Often, a nation comes to a point of no return and I feel we are there. The GOP is putting up their 'best' in debate tonight. If this bunch isn't proof the end of this monumental USA experiment is near, I'll never convince you otherwise.

The only one of them who has the fortitude to change our downward course is Ron Paul.
Yeah, I know, I didn't think I would ever say it either. But go ahead, push the latest Rino, or some cult figure, especially those who can't be bothered to show up to debate, who won't do squat except more of the same..... you hard headed, 'don't confuse me with facts' republicans!

You continue to allow the media to pick your candidates every 4 years....How's that workin' for ya?? They're holding all the aces, because you allow them. Fox was going to be your savior...Pfft!

None of your candidates, except Ron Paul, can beat Obama. If you all could get your egos out of the way over your wonder 'candidate' long enough, Obama might loose. But you won't, you never have. Paul is the only one with the base and the fight to do it and he's the only one not bought and paid for by Mexico or some other equally offensive entity.
I'm not happy about that conclusion, but that's the way it is.

Yesterday, former Senator Mark Hatfield of Oregon died, of old age. May he rest in peace. My sympathy to his family. I keep being told what a great man he was.
At least he didn't stay in the Senate until he had to be rolled in and out, like McCain likely will.... both of these long term rino's are PERFECT arguments for term limits.

TUCSON — Nogales station Border Patrol agents prevented nearly 5,000 rounds of ammunition from being smuggled out of the United States and into the hands of transnational criminal organizations in Mexico on Sunday.

Agents from the Nogales Border Patrol station responded to reports of three suspicious individuals dressed in black carrying backpacks just north of the International Boundary Fence (IBF). Upon arrival, agents observed one subject fitting the description running south, leaving behind three backpacks. At the same time, operators using a Remote Video Surveillance System (RVSS) observed two other subjects absconding into Mexico over the IBF.

During an inspection of the three backpacks, agents discovered 4,951 rounds of 9 mm and 500 rounds of .40-caliber pistol ammunition. The ammunition was seized and transported to the Nogales Border Patrol station.
