(AP) - Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama said Tuesday that the Bush administration has done nothing to defuse a "quiet riot" among blacks that threatens to erupt just as riots in Los Angeles did 15 years ago.  Repeatedly, he referred to the riots that erupted in Los Angeles after a jury acquitted four police officers of assault charges in the 1991 beating of Rodney King, a black motorist, after a high speed chase. Fifty-five people died and 2,000 were injured in several days of riots in the city's black neighborhoods.

This administration was colorblind in its incompetence," Obama said at a conference of black clergy.  

"Those 'quiet riots' that take place every day are born from the same place as the fires and the destruction and the police decked out in riot gear and the deaths," Obama said. "They happen when a sense of disconnect settles in and hope dissipates. Kurtz had been researching Obama's relationship with unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers, apparently at the behest of Obama supporters.

Obama fans jammed WGN's phone lines and sent in hundreds of protest emails. The message was clear to anyone who would follow Rosenberg's example. We will make trouble for you if you let anyone make the case against The One.

Maximo Alvarez a  Cuban-born Florida Businessman delivered a warning of the consequences of the empty promises of socialism.

He moved listeners all across America when he said  “I’ve seen movements like this before. I’ve seen ideas like this before. I am here to tell you – we cannot let them take over our country,” Alvarez said. “I heard the promises of Fidel Castro”.

Alvarez argued that policies favored by prominent Democrats, such as free health care, and calls to defund the police are “false promises” that “sound familiar” based on his experiences in Cuba. The Trump administration has accused Biden and running mate Kamala Harris of embracing far-left policies in their platform.

Officials in several Democrat-run cities have pushed to cut funding for local police forces in recent months amid nationwide protests against systemic racism. Biden has repeatedly denied that he plans to defund police departments, stating instead that he intends to crack down on misconduct and provide support for better practices.

In his speech, Alvarez said recent violence in cities around the country stirred memories of his homeland.

“The country I was born in is gone, totally destroyed,” Alvarez said. “When I watch the news in Seattle and Chicago and Portland, when I see history being rewritten, when I hear the promises—I hear echoes of a former life I never wanted to hear again. I see shadows I thought I had outrun.”

Alvarez said he is “grateful” that he was “able to build my American dream through hard work and determination.”

“President Trump is fighting the forces of anarchy and communism. And now he will continue to do just that. And what about his opponent and the rest of the DC swamp?  I have no doubt they will hand the country over to those dangerous forces,” Alvarez said.

You may have never heard of the Cherokee Civil War.   It is a  term used to describe the destruction of that tribe from within over a 40 year period by Chief John Ross by means of propaganda, isolating the masses from the free speech of those who would tell them the truth.   A tactic we see played out daily in our current political circus.

 As my Dad used to say, "The Cherokee didn't need the  White man's government to destroy them, they did that well enough on their own!"

 The most amazing thing is this:  Many, not all Cherokee,  either still believe that Major Ridge, Cherokee leader, and his followers SOLD their native Georgia lands to the government.

The timeline, the facts, the history all say this is a lie, but that lie persists.

Along with propaganda and Chief John Ross using his influence and the treasury of the tribe,  caused the ignorant of the tribe to assassinate several of their most prominent, trusted leaders, Major Ridge and his son John were among them.These were the leaders who brought dignity and prosperity to the Cherokee Nation and made the mistakes of their lives electing John Ross as their leader.  Stopping free speech was his first move.  Then he cancelled elections and confiscated the treasury.  Then he simply oversaw the elimination by murder of any who opposed him.

Andrew Jackson pushed through his Indian removal bill in 1830.  This, as Cong. David Crockett, who opposed it, described as a mistake and a done deal.

Followers of Ridge met with the US Government in 1835 to try to salvage some kind of deal known as the Treaty of New Echota, for their people to settle in the new lands they were already by law going to be removed to.

NO CHEROKEE SOLD THEIR LAND!  IT is a lie!
Chief John Ross held out for more money, convincing the tribe he was going to work a miracle and they would be allowed to stay. It is because of Chief John Ross's greed that so many Cherokee died on the Trail of Tears in 1838 and 1839, because they had to be forcibly removed without means or provisions to sustain them. He was a master at class warfare, racial division and hate mongering.   His personal tribal assassins didn't mind that he was only 1/8 Cherokee with blue eyes if the payoff was good enough.  He was also a prominent African Slave owner.  (YO...Lizzie Warren!)

1830….Indian Removal Act, passed by CONGRESS, signed by Andrew Jackson.May 28, 1830, authorizing the president to grant unsettled lands west of the Mississippi in exchange for Indian lands within existing state borders.
1835…. Treaty of New Echota by the Ridge party
1838…..Removal to Indian Territory by Army

The Class of '85- You did a lot of damage, Dr. Spock

We who support President Elect Donald Trump are discouraged and puzzled by the youth who are out on the streets making demands and denouncing the election.  This generation of kids are called 'millennials', born from 1982 to 2002 or so.


Yes,  the ones we see are obnoxious, selfish, confused, smelly and uninformed.   Half of them in Portland were to lazy to vote.  They just want to BREAK something!  ANYTHING!!

But I wondered…who are the parents of these little anarchist wannabes?
Born from 1965 to 1980 or so.    Those were Generation X. That mystical age group who none of us ever were quite able to label.

But I can tell you much about the Class of '85, at least what I saw and see of it.

My daughter graduated that year, and I had been to many high school graduation ceremonies, but never saw one before or since like that one.    It was a graduation of several hundred seniors in the auditorium.  They didn't march in, they just kind of wandered down to the seating area.  They were loud and raunchy.  They had absolutely no respect or regard for their school or families in attendance.  They were already partying and we were just in the way.   No one heard the music playing.  Everyone over 18 looked embarrassed.  This bunch didn't need parents.   

The irony is, this is the same lot who 'loves' everyone and is OH, so 'tolerant' of any numbskull or criminal they come across.   The truth is subjective and NO one is smarter.  Stealing and lying are just little things we should accept.  Everyone does it!    But God help you if you criticize anything or dare voice an opinion, especially if you still believe that stealing and lying is a sin.  Yes, they worked.  Status and partying was important but who knows who raised their kids.  Usually the grandparents, we baby boomers, who our children have absolutely no use for. We should have kicked our kids asses a LOT more than we did.

Somehow their kids got the 'tolerance' message and twisted it into a killing weapon to break the law and bludgeon everyone around them to get anything they want.  They also got the message that it's ok to just take what you want and never consider your fellow man.    NO, NOT all of them…I'm talking about the useless idiots tearing up our cities and rule of law!  I have a grandchild who, so far, has risen above all the nonsense and is productive and decent in spite of all of us.
