On July 23, 2009, Border Patrol Agent Robert W. Rosas was shot to death by border bandits while carrying out the oath he swore three years ago. He was 30 years old. He leaves a young wife and two small children. May he rest in peace.

Citigroup, recently bailed out by the US taxpayer, is giving $1.75 million to La Raza.
The government directly hands out millions every year to La Raza ( aka the Klan with a tan!) and Fannie Mae, who you also had to bail out gives millions to them every year. What a scam! We are financing our own demise!

.....In a pilot program, the charitable arm of Citigroup is giving the National Council of La Raza money to help buy foreclosed homes in Phoenix for rehabilitation and ultimate purchase by low-and moderate-income Latino families. In all, New York-based Citi Foundation is providing $1.75 million to the NCLR, of which $235,000 will go to its Raza Development Fund. That'll allow the fund to acquire, maintain and rehab properties to sell or lease.

Raza Development Fund chief Tom Espinoza says the fund will add about $4 million and federal stimulus program money will boost the total to about $12 million to target bank-owned vacant foreclosed properties. He's hoping at least 100 families in three hard-hit Hispanic neighborhoods in Phoenix will be able to buy homes.[snip]

ANN ARBOR, MI – The Thomas More Law Center, a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan announced today that a federal lawsuit has been filed against a Dearborn, Michigan high school, Fordson High School, and its Muslim principal, Imad Fadlallah, over the firing of Gerald Marszalek because of Marszalek’s connection to a Christian volunteer coach.

Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center commented, “We are getting a glimpse of what happens when Muslims who refuse to accept American values and principles gain political power in an American community. Failure to renew coach Marszalek’s contract had nothing to do with wrestling and everything to do with religion.”

The city of Dearborn is one of the most densely populated Muslim communities in the United States. An estimated 30,000 of its 98,000 residents are Muslims. It is estimated that 80% of the student population of Fordson High School is Arabic and most of those are Muslims. According to the lawsuit, Fadlallah has publically stated that he sees Fordson High School as a Muslim school.[snip]

Will Janet Napolitano Arrest an Illegal Alien for Any Reason?

The Department of Homeland Security, under the direction of Secretary Janet Napolitano, recently announced that it will modify a highly successful program that allows local police officers to enforce federal immigration law. Apparently the program was becoming too successful and something had to be done to stop it, pronto.

It seems that civil liberties and illegal alien advocacy groups don’t like illegals being arrested for immigration violations when they commit only minor offenses such as urinating in public and speeding. Immigration law-trained police officers, who encounter someone drunk in an alley relieving himself or a speeder, use their federally provided training to determine if the guy is here illegally. Officers take these people into custody and turn them over to immigration authorities for deportation. So what’s the problem?

The problem, as seen by Secretary Napolitano, is that these advocacy groups have thrown down the race card alleging that police officers are using the dreaded “racial profiling” technique to arrest these people. This is absurd, but she bowed to their demands and has given police departments 90 days’ notice to accept new restrictions on who can be arrested. [snip] Read more: Family Security Matters

Mexican growers having big pot year in state

Shasta-Trinity National Forest - -Mexican drug traffickers have expanded their marijuana-growing operations in California parks as state and local governments have tightened spending and slashed jobs and services.

Law enforcement officials say the traffickers, taking advantage of the fact that there are fewer sheriff's deputies and rangers monitoring parks, are cultivating more pot than ever before. This year's multibillion-dollar crop is on pace to be the largest in history, said state officials.

"It's a huge problem," said Gordon Taylor, the assistant special agent in charge of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. "California is ground zero for domestic marijuana cultivation in the country."

The illicit crops are believed to be hidden on ridges and in gullies in California's 31 million acres of forest, with most being grown in state and national parks.

So far this year, more than a million plants have been seized by the state's Campaign Against Marijuana Planting, or CAMP program, according to Michelle Gregory, the spokeswoman for the California Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement, and the pot-growing season is not even half over.

"Our whole state is overrun," Gregory said. "It's an epidemic."

Much of the cannabis grown in California is being exported around the country, into Mexico and overseas. One batch recently harvested in Shasta County was tracked by drug enforcement agents to Chicago and South Carolina.
