Before and after open border hotshots like McCain, Linda Chavez, etc. told the demonstraters that pushing their foreign flags was working against them with the public!
SO much for those "peaceful marchs" John McCain was so impressed with.
If I were Mexican, I could live in Mexico-- or America.Crystalk posted on 2006-04-16 www.libertypost.org
If I were African, Somali, etc... I could live there-- or America.
Same goes for any race, nation, kindred, or tribe on Earth's surface.
But since I am an Anglo-American, ancestors here since 1630's, I have only one choice, ONLY America, and that is not MINE, it belongs to everything that can crawl or slither in, no matter how many toes or flippers or tongues it has.
What's happening now in this country has moved far beyond simple right/left generalizations.CountFloyd posted on 2006-04-15 www.libertypost.org
A Somali arrives in Minneapolis as a new immigrant to the United States. He stops the first person he sees walking down the street and says, "Thank you Mr. American for letting me in this country, and giving me housing, food stamps, free medical care and free education!" But the passer-by says "You are mistaken, I am Mexican".(Author unknown - Thanks Russel!)
The man goes on and encounters another passer-by. "Thank you for having such a beautiful country here in America!"
The person says "I no American, I Vietnamese."
The new arrival walks further, and the next person he sees he stops, shakes his hand and says "Thank you for the wonderful America!" That person puts up his hand and says
"I am from Middle East, I am not an American!"
He finally sees a nice lady and asks suspiciously, "Are you an American?" She says, "No, I am from Russia!"
So he is puzzled, and asks her, "Where are all the Americans?"
The Russian lady looks at her watch, shrugs, and says...
"Probably still at work."
