A rose is a rose, and AMNESTY is AMNESTY, Newt!

Illegal aliens aren't stupid. They understand their rights and know how to use 'em.
They also understand simple English better than the political class, even a presidential candidate.

No, not 'comprehensive immigration reform' or a 'path to legality'. AMNESTIA! They get it! And they know which candidates are on their side. The 'hispanic community' is solidly behind Gingrich. Newt even has his own Spanish Language outreach program...The Americano.

This is the same tired, deceitful argument we've been having for the last decade....some people just can't admit what amnesty is, and give it all kinds of cute names to disguise it. The saddest part is how many intelligent people often fall for it.

What I need is for someone, ANY one to show me where Newt ever backed building a fence on the border when he wasn't campaigning for president.

The think tank, The National Foundation for American Policy (NFAP), that issued the letter supporting McCain/Kennedy/Bush 'comprehensive immigration reform' is one of many 'non partisan', non profit think tanks Gingrich is involved with. It is replete with articles and statements of support for 'legalization'. But I'll be damned if I can find a word to support Duncan Hunter's fence or for supporting the enforcement of the LAW!

Good GOP soldiers like Sean Hannity keep trying to tell the left and the media that we're all just 'vetting' Obama, like they should have. Too bad he won't 'vet' some of our own candidates a bit better instead of having NEWT on his show ad nauseum without ever getting to the meat of the situation.

Some pundits are calling Michelle Bachmann a 'liar' for being the only candidate with the cajones to call Newt out on his decades long support of AMNESTY. She didn't lie, she just told you what you refuse to hear! Others say Newt was only one of 15 signatures on the Wall St. Journal letter in support of the Bush AMNESTY. True...and the others you had better take notice of! The lot of them are open border, cheap labor, globalist hacks.

Grover Norquist. He was co author of Gingrich's 'contract with America' and the force behind Bush's 'comprehensive immigration reform'. Along with other signatories, he managed to destroy California's Prop. 187 to control illegal immigration. Newt Gingrich describes Norquist as “the most innovative, creative, courageous and entrepreneurial leader of the anti-tax efforts and of conservative grassroots activism in America . . . He has truly made a difference and truly changed American history.”
Where you find Gingrich, you will find Norquist and be saddled with more cheap labor 'trade' agreements like Nafta, Gatt, and any give away to any 3rd world sewer they choose. And where you find them both, you will likely find Karl Rove. Count on it! Rove, Norquist, Gingrich...the 3 headed Trojan horse of the GOP.

And this....for the memory impaired, Newt co sponsored the original 'FairnessLink Doctrine' bill which was meant to shut down conservative talk radio. Yeah, he was for it, before he was against it...one of MANY bad bills Newt tried to hoist upon us all.

And for those of you in the tech industry, who have had their jobs outsourced, House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA) supported an increase in the H-1B ceiling. There was a cap of 65,000 H-1B visas per year, until Newt 'fixed it'. The Clinton Administration on February 25, 1998 testified that any increases in the H-1B ceiling must be linked with reforms to ensure that employers try to recruit US workers and to guarantees that H-1B workers do not replace laid-off US workers: "Increased immigration should be the last -- not the first -- public policy
response to skills shortages."

am·nes·ty ( m n -st ). n. pl. am·nes·ties. A general pardon granted by a
government, especially for political offenses

Good read: Lawmakers Have Their Own Definition of “Amnesty”

And Herman Cain....looks like someone was letting Herman be Herman! lol
Well, it was fun for a while. Sad thing is, between him and Obama, no one will vote for a good black man for generations! SHAME on ya, Herman!
